Butcher and Bird crafted an out-of-this-world menu for our wedding, leaving a lasting impression on every guest in attendance. Not only did the menu cater to our personal tastes and style, but it also accommodated our guests' preferences, allergies, and dietary restrictions. In the lead-up to the wedding/event, B&B displayed enthusiasm for the occasion, maintained excellent communication, and showed great respect for timelines and our specific needs. They were also highly attentive to proper health compliance, ensuring the right temperatures, storage, and cleanliness standards were met. Chuck's exceptional attention to detail truly made the entire experience perfect. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire crew at Butcher and Bird for making our wedding absolutely epic!

Amazing place, it’s cool having a butcher shop outside of Chinatown. Diverse selection of meats, and if they don’t have it they’ll try to find it for you. The deli is awesome as well. Got the dry aged double cheeseburger and the Italian combo sandwich. I need to give it more thought, but I may end up agreeing with other reviewers that the burger is one of the best on island. The dry aged beef gives it an outstandingly robust meaty taste. The Italian combo is great too, with a medley of meats and veggies that taste great. Side note from reading other reviews, why would a Philly native get a Philly cheesesteak sandwich outside of Philly? I would never get a poke bowl outside of Hawaii. Anyway, sure, prices are high. But everything is made fresh in house and the quality of the food is obviously there. Plus, the portion sizes are actually pretty big. Will definitely be back to try the pastrami sandwich! @Phil Ventura generally you’re supposed to review the business that you’re leaving the review on, not places that happen to be nearby. But since you started on it, let’s dive in, shall we? You call Highway Inn hipster when it’s an old, established name, yet don’t say the same about Moku, hanks, and Bevy, all of which are practically dripping with hipsterness. Speaking of which, you call the latter three wonderful, but you gave Moku only 4 stars and didn’t even review the other two. My dude, at least try to give some backup for your hot takes.

Like many, I have had good burgers all over the world but having a great burger is not so common. This place had an exceptionally GREAT burger exploding with flavor in every savory bite! I am going to go out on a limb and declare it the BEST burger EVER! So frickin delicious! Tried their own made sausage and it was loaded with flavor. Don’t know what their secret is but this place has found a very special talent in flavor. Now it is my go to…i am addicted!

First things first...they’re located on the second floor of SALT Kakaako. Great go to place for everything butchered as well as a short menu of prepared food (sandwiches and plates). They’ve got amazing burgers- single or double patty with or without cheese, bacon and mushrooms. Personally all my favorites. They also have prepared patties to take home and grill my all time fav- 50/50 bacon..how can you go wrong with that? They also have various cuts of meat & sausages. They also have cured meats like mortadella. Pre-made charcuterie boards in small, medium & large (pre-order) or select what you want to create your own. Also a slew of jarred mustards, sauces, marinades, salts, and dry rubs. This really isn’t all they have there is so much more. I can’t say I’ve had everything on the menu but everything I have had has been awesome! Maybe it’s because I know most items are house made so it tastes that much better. Check them out and you can follow them on IG for specials. Oh and I forgot..even before the pandemic...they have about a dozen seats in their exclusive outdoor dining area.
