We went here our first night in Hawaii 3 years ago and we have made it a point to come back every year when we come visit. The food is fantastic and the staff is super attentive. A great local place!

We were walking around after watching the Friday Fireworks show at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and wanted to find something new. We walked along Ena Road and found this place that looked like a dive. We were pleasantly surprised when a server opened the door and invited us in. The restaurant is upscale and the vibe was lively, many young tourists dining on sushi and skewers. We looked over the menu and chose a salad and a Pork Tonkatsu Teishoku (meal). The salad was very fresh and the Pork was very good. We don't normally go to Waikiki but we might go more since they have a parking lot behind the restaurant.

Very nice atmosphere. There is outdoor seating if you want. The sashimi was really fresh and tasty! The rolls are well made and have good flavor. The Udon noodles were soft and light, the broth was good, and the tempura melted away with the broth. Definetly worth a revisit.

they were so nice! i had just been in japan the week before and i missed it so much, the sushi was nice and fresh. i was a bit taken back from the edamame being cold, idk if that’s how it’s supposed to be served lol but it wasn’t bad! my waitress was the absolute sweetest, and then my friend joined me and we got another waitress who was also so nice. it was super cute here, i ate outside, i loved it. i walked here from my hotel (the hilton it was like an 8 minute walk) so idk how the parking is. but for some fresh nice sushi, i recommend <3

Their food tasted very good. First time to try the Flounder Bone Crackers. It is interesting. Apparently there was a typo in their menu, but the best thing is their Happy Hour starts at 9pm to close. Good time to enjoy good food and drinks at night.

Everyone was so nice. I was really wanting curry, but they no longer have it on the menu. The foods ordered did not disappoint though. The food was of high-quality and price was very reasonable. This was within walking distance of Hilton Village Waikiki, about 10 minutes.

Adorable Japanese Restaurant! We had a very satisfying dinner at Chiba-Ken! The Rainbow Roll is the best I ever had. There are a lot of yakitori skewers in the menu: we tried pork belly w/garlic sauce, beef tongue w/green onion and salmon skin skewer. Plum wine was fantastic, and lemon sour had an original presentation! I recommend this place 100%. You will have an amazing dinner here!

Excellent neighborhood Japanese restaurant. They open late when other restaurants are closed nearby and have excellent happy hour! Food is made to order and it’s excellent for the value. I like eating here late night to get quality restaurant grade food instead of eating fast food or bar food. There’s always people here late night. Indoor, outdoor, and bar seating.

My flight was delayed, so there was no other place to go when i checked in to Hotel. I found this place right by the hotel that i’m staying, and had Ramen. So good, great price, amazing and friendly server, love the atmosphere as well. I will come back for some sushi during my stay here.

Probably the most authentic sushi experience you're going to get in Waikiki. The chefs look to be very experienced. I was sitting at the sushi bar with a friend and enjoyed watching the chefs make the meals with care and expertise. I asked a couple locals and they both said this place had the best sushi. I also ordered some fried oysters. If you're not sure if you like oysters, try them. They are very good and rather mild in flavor compared to raw oysters.
