What a burger. Juicy full of flavor perfectly cooked. Fries were on point and the cup never ran empty. Our server Nona was awesome as well. Great food.
We had incredible service- our drinks were refreshed constantly, & our delicious food was served promptly and courteously. This place has an islandy atmosphere, & a really happy vibe about it, mostly thanks to the enthusiasm of the servers & others who work there.
This restaurant is located at the Ala Moana shopping centre. We decided to have dinner that after a full day of shopping. I supposed when you are in US better try the burger. I had the one with the chilli, somehow I thought it was dried chilli. I wanted something spicy. But turns out it was the meat sauce chilli like the ones they put in hot dogs. Chips were cooked perfectly to golden brown.
Cocktail was packed with a punch. So pace yourself. Service was polite and friendly.

A local told us if we wanted a good burger, to try this place, and he was right! Burgers were big, stacked full of bits n' pieces - and they actually made a *REALLY* great vegie burger! Topped with crispy fried onions! Speaking of onions, the onion rings were the size of my head! HUGE! You don't feel healthy or light after a meal here, but if you're after a filling glutenous and glutenous meal meal after a long day of shopping at Ala Moana - here's your stop!

Highly recommend the sliders- succulent tasty beef in soft buns, the quesadilla - tasty perfection, the artichoke and spinach dip with corn chips - amazingly delicious. My friend raved about the pulled pork in the soft taco and also sliders.
We sat in the happy hour so had drinks for like $5 - pina colada and margarita, so delicious and very generous sizes.
It is what it says it is..... ...Fine burgers and drinks! Came here for lunch after trooping around Ala Moana Mall. My main memory of this place is the giant high-quality frosty draft beers for only $6, or maybe $8? Two of those with lunch and I was done for the rest of the day :) We had pulled pork slider appetisers, a little messy but delicious. I can't remember what burger my partner had (those beers again!) but I had their "hot" (Kilauea) burger and it was fantastic. Big, juicy, perfectly medium, covered in black pepper and a nice char. Burger heaven, get on board it if you're in the area!
I voted I like it, however...... I only did so because I don't think it's a complete lost cause. It is a little pricey for what you get, and yes, there could be more flavor going on with their menu items (I ordered the Kilauea burger hoping it would clear my sinuses, I didn't even manage a sniffle), however, I wouldn't say it was bad, just not real memorable. To me, it's a place to seek out if every place else nearby is on an hour plus wait, or if you really want a burger and don't wanna take the drive to Teddy's.
Mrs.. Love the place! I work at a large insurance corporation and have convinced all my co-workers to celebrate most of their birthdays there. Great food, great service.

Our Favorite Pau Hana Spot. Being an avid shopper and a parent of a teenager, until about a year ago, I often walked by this restaurant while looking for my next bargain or waiting for my 17 year old to get out of her band rehearsals, etc.
My hubby 'discovered' this place one evening when he got tired of walking around and needed a pit stop. I had tried this place for lunch in their restaurant area before and wasn't WOWed by their burgers. But, little did I know that friendly service and tasty bargains were waiting to be experienced in their bar area during their daily happy hour.
First of all, we never have to worry about parking. Next, their definition of happy hour runs from mid-afternoon through a good part of the evening. We don't have to rush out of our office to take advantage of happy hour prices, leaving lots of time for us to take our time, relax and get fed.
We always sit at a table in the bar area. Fridays do get really busy but, there's no pressure waiting in line to order because of the long happy hour hours. Daily happy hour specials that feature 50% off their pupu menu, free chips and salsa, topped with their ice cold (and we mean icy!) beer, you can't go wrong!
Not everything on the menu is something to write home about but, we have our favorites ...
Topping the list and the reason we keep going back, is their truly ice-cold beer on tap. Although my hubby's favorite beer is not on tap, he'll order a Longboard and it is always delivered with a warm smile and, it's so cold that there's a layer of ice crystals floating at the top of the drink. He absolutely loves it! I'm always the designated driver, so I opt for the bottomless teas or soft drinks.
Their onion rings are not the pre-fabbed type of rings ... they are made with fresh onions, sliced thick and delivered in a nice sized portion.
We enjoy the endless fries, cut thick and always goes a long way. The buffalo wings are a good choice too.
My personal favorite is their chicken tortilla soup. The bottomless bowl is a meal by itself! Nice chucks of tender chicken, avacado and strips of seasoned tortilla chips on top. YUM! I just wish that it came with a little rice on the side ... but that's the local girl in me.
Their staff is always very friendly and as attentive as they can be. It does get pretty busy in the bar area. How busy? So busy that they recently expanded the bar area to accommodate more people! When they are busy timeliness of the service can sometimes lag but they are always very friendly.
We've also met people who work at other restaurants in the mall who opt to pau hana here because of the pau hana bar prices, ice cold beer on tap and friendly service ... now that is saying something special..

The service was awesome. Our waiter was very friendly. My hubby took his suggestion and got the Hawaiian burger and loved it. He said it was really good. Tortilla soup was really good and hearty.
Sat at bar tables for happy hour, and had to wait for an accent table to open for our party to be able to sit together, the staff was accommodating in helping us move the tables and wait for us to get seated before getting our order and starting the whole process. Our waitress was attentive, the food came out fast and the order was all correct and everything was cook well and tasted good. Overall a great experience. Hadn't been to an islands restaurant since we lived in San Diego. Would definitely visit again if we found ourselves in the mall again.
We like eating here. It's got that mainland chain feel to it with some local flair. However, the staff is friendly and the food is really good. Burgers are done right, fries are crisp outside and soft inside, appetizers are tasty and drinks are good. Bluenami burger, buffalo wings, kids chicken tenders and kids mac and cheese are our staples. We like that they have both inside and outside seating and a full bar.
Convenient eatery in Aka Moana. Nice experience when hot outside to sit on deck for some drinks. Eat at high chairs outside and not the tables and enjoy happy hour. Good eats and drinks with flavor. Big tvs for sports watching.
Always good food and decent service. We waited extra long as they said they called our name, but we never heard them. The chicken tortilla soup is always a good starter. The chicken hoisin bowl was tasty.
Even though we went on a Saturday night, service was quick. Our server Kelsey was super friendly and attentive. Food was good and overall great atmosphere.

Quite possibly the best burger I have ever had. (Kilauea plus bacon and a fried egg) Exceptional service. Great fries and nachos. Eat here. You will not regret it.
I thought I have had great burgers but then you discover something that takes it to the next level. The jalepeno burger was pretty much perfect. Great crust on the pattie with the perfect kind of heat. Great to substitute slaw for fries. Friendly and welcoming service with nice surroundings. Only glitch is I had to prompt our server for another beer. Never leave a man with an empty beer glass.
Definitely going back before we leave to make sure it was that good.
Good Big Wave Burger (American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle & mustard). Fresh pineapple is actually fresh (-: Really fast, engaged and friendly Server. Recommend if you’re looking for a good burger, or light Mexican fare. Salads are good here too.
