We can't say enough good things about this place!! We are visiting Hilton Head on vacation and the Crazy Crab is a must-visit if you're a fan of delicious seafood. Kim was our server and perfectly captures the spirit of Southern hospitality. She's funny and was always eager to please. The price was also super affordable. I honestly would have expected to pay double for the same meal back home. We definitely got our bang for our buck. Our bellies are full and we are happy campers!
My server Kim, was the BEST from the time I walked into the restaurant until she bagged up my leftovers. If excellent customer service was a picture, it would be a picture of Kim. Shout out to Mr. Jeremy, Kim’s father and the love of her life. We shared stories, and she is a daddy’s girl just like me! Kim, you rock!❤️
I loved the atmosphere!! Very rustic and coastal. Our server Kim was exceptional!! She was friendly, engaging, knowledgeable and SO much fun. She made our visit even more enjoyable. The food was amazing. Between us we had the She crab soup, wedge salad, hush puppies (of course!!), tripletail, shrimp and grits, broiled seafood platter and Captains platter. I can't even pick a fav because they were all so delicious. I highly recommend this place for great food, great service, great atmosphere.
And another huge shout out to Kim who is a true asset to this establishment.
We had the pleasure of dining at the crazy crab. It is a beautiful restaurant with great views. We were greeted immediately and seated within minutes. Our server was amazing. Answered our questions and gave suggestions. We tried the gator bites they were wonderful. Our entrées included broil seafood platter, fried seafood platter, fish and chips and kids steak. All were great. I did wish my flounder has more seasoning but not a deal breaker. I added salt and pepper! The same with the fish and chips it was missing something, but it was not bad it was okay. My son loved his meal so that was awesome. The drinks were delicious. Overall we had an amazing time. I would certainly recommend. Great restaurant.
My Friend and I went here for dinner. We were seated right away. Our waitress Joy was extremely welcoming. She was very kind and friendly. Our food was very good. Food order came out very quickly. I love the service and atmosphere here. I love the location. After dinner we went for a walk on the pier.
Husband and I stopped in to the Crazy Crab for some cold drinks and food on a very hot day in August. Kim took excellent care of us and we really enjoyed the whole experience-the view, the food and the service. The fried green tomatoes were probably our favorite but everything we had was delicious. Would definitely return.
Our meal started with excellent hush puppies brought by our friendly server Kim. She recommended the halibut special which got rave reviews. My steak was tender and cooked to temperature. The crab legs and seafood platter were also rated highly.
Fun atmosphere with good food and very friendly staff. There can be a wait so come early and prepare yourself. Lots of fried food with limited options for land lovers but the food was good and everyone was full and happy. Great spot if you are visiting the island and doing a bit of shopping.
We love coming to crazy crab every time we come to Hilton Head! Kim our server was so nice and extra friendly! She was attentive and took good care of us! She also suggested the special which my husband really enjoyed. We are always happy when we decide to go to the Crazy Crab!
Loved Harbor Town and the Crazy Crab lived up to their billing as the best crab legs on the island. I had the fish and chips, and the Mrs tried the 1 1/4 lb crab pot. 🦀 I'm surprised we got almost 4 clusters of crab and really good corn on the cob and red potatoes. The crabs were sweet and so easy to crack, very good. While here, we toured the lighthouse and even had a dolphin leap out of the water right next to us on the pier.
