Excellent food, service, and atmosphere.
The pizza was phenomenal - excellent crispy, flaky, and flavorful crust, and perfectly cooked.
Our server, Steph M., Was so thoughtful and kind. She brought my toddler a pizza tray with some dough and flour to play with while we waited. In addition to that, she slipped my wife a note, asking if it was okay to ask about dessert in front of our kid.
This is an excellent spot, highly recommend, and will be back whenever we are in.
I have been coming to Hilton Head Island with my family for over 20 years. On our arrival day, we always grab something quick. I wanted to try a new pizza place. So, I googled and found Local Pie Woodfired Pizza. It was easy to order online for carry-out and pick-up was a breeze! The pizza is hands down the best pizza my family and I have had on the island! We will definitely eat here again. The staff was friendly! The pizza was hot and fresh!
This place was hopping on a Sunday night but everything was well executed. Cheerful staff that seated us quickly, brought us drinks, brought the salad out first but the pizza quickly after. The portion was just right- we shared a salad for three people with two 10” pizzas. The place had good parking, outdoor and indoor seating, was spacious/airy and lively without being annoyingly loud. Nice bar area and TVs.
We ordered a Mediterranean salad and a Little Bear pizza, they didn't disappoint they both were outstanding! The place was not very busy at 7pm on a Wednesday so we got to ear and enjoy our dinner on the outdoor patio. Conveniently located next to an ice cream place if you still have room after, lol, not me! Highly recommend!
Had a great meal. Super family-friendly -- dough balls for the kids were a nice touch -- and delicious pizzas and apps. Nice craft beer selection, too! 🌟🍻
Excellent little pizza shop here on HHI. Get the knots and whatever pizza you like. Good beer available also so try something new.

One of my favorite pizza places ever! It's just really, really good pizza! The crust is thin and perfectly charred.
Their woodfire pizza was delicious but the menu topping options are limited, we wanted Pineapple and Shrimp, which they don't carry. The order came out quick and our server, Emmy was extremely kind and knowledgeable of the menu. A special memory for the kids was when she brought them out pizza dough to play with. They kept talking about it even after we left the restaurant. The other team members seem like they like their job because everyone seemed to be getting along well with friendly smiles and laughter. That difference made Local Pizza a place I will come back too.
1st time and we took it to go. This pizza was very good awesome taste.
Staff was superb from the host who hustled to get a table cleaned so we could be seated quickly and our server, Raegan, who was extremely attentive and made the best recommendation to try the White pizza-which was one of the most flavorful I’ve ever tried! Food was served quickly as well, appetizers hit the spot perfectly and pricing was fair. Highly recommend and worth the almost 2 miles we decided to walk, through the lovely and scenic path, to try it out! Go get you some!
