I have been coming here for 6 years , when your in a vacation hot spot you can expect a wait , when your wait is an hour plus it's normally because lots of people want to eat here . I would recommend this place to everyone , our wait was less than an hour , our food was fabulous as always and I will fight anyone one this island rite now for my take home pecan pie , bring it and pack your lunch cuz I will without a doubt swing for the last piece , it's Hilton Head island people , slow down have a cold beer next door at the lodge and wait for your buzzer to buz , grilled strawberry habenero sauce is the bomb ......cheers and thanks for another great meal..... And side note our waiter sat at our table for 5 minutes last night just to give his feet a break , sure was nice just to chat and talk about life and pecan pies ���
Always a must when your at the island.. never fails to get a greattttttt meal.. the bbq chicken smoked is to die for.. thank you for a great meal. Coming back before I leave!
Ate lunch here, no issues getting seated, wait for food was longer than expected. A few people in a party noted that the water tasted “different/off”, the rest of us had soft drinks so no issues. Ribs were devoured quickly and were cooked to perfection. Brisket was very good, but did have a little more fat than anticipated. Sliders (beef) were very good. House sauces were very tasty. Sides: loved the fries, mashed potatoes, baked beans, Mac and Cheese, and the collards. 2 out of 4 really liked the cornbread, the others said “it was alright”. Overall a 4.5/5.
This place was tucked a little ways behind Reilly's Bar and Grill so it was a little hard for us to find at first, but we're so glad we did!
The atmosphere was fun, very BBQ meets sports bar and our server was really great. She was friendly even while dealing with some very large tables.
And the food! The food blew me away! I was a little shocked at the prices because I thought everything was $4-5 more expensive than I would have expected, but the portions are HUGE. You definitely get your money's worth.
We tried the fried chicken, ribs, Texas Philly, fries and a side salad. All of it was delicious, and one thing that really stood out was the jalapeno-honey cornbread. It was perfectly spiced and seasoned
The first time experiencing Thanksgiving at OHM!!! Totally NOT disaapointed. The food was amazing, more importantly, the staff was over the top accommodating, the buffet was very clean and full. The Owner is hands down...THE BEST!!! Just like one of the family!!
I ordered the bbq special and got smoked turkey on the side. I am a bigger guy so sometimes the usual smaller portions leave me hungry.. I have enough for a full meal tomorrow that I am taking with me my wife got the fried pork chop and loved it too. We are very happy that we took a shot and stopped here.
Was in Hilton Head for a vacation with friends. This is an excellent place to go. The food is great the staff are very friendly. I only wish it wasn't hidden from the main road so you could get more people to expierence the great food.
If you are looking for good BBQ this place is worth your stop. There is plenty of seating and staff a very friendly and welcoming. We had the onion haystack for a starter and the were delicious. They are thinly cut and have a well seasoned light crispy coating. We also had the baby back ribs plus one. For the plus one we chose the Texas Beef Brisket. Both of these were off the charts. These were perfect for my mother as her stomach can't do spicy food anymore. The baby backs had lots of meat and were tender and juicy and of coarse falling off the bone. Which for me is must for ribs. I live in Texas and the beef brisket was on point. The fried chicken was different than what I am used to but very good. We really enjoyed this place and would return if I have the opportunity.
Daijah is an absolutely great waitress. She was very sweet and helped us each find the perfect meal. This place lives up to the hype. It will be on our list of must eats when we return to the island.
WOW!!! Sooo good! We were told to try this place while on our family vacation and I’m so glad we did. I wish we could go back and try more things. Definitely recommend the wings. They were so juicy and big and the ranch was amazing. We also got the Mac n cheese stack. YUM!! I got the onion haystack burger and it was huge. My husband got a platter and said the ribs and brisket were amazing. Neat place too, but smaller and gets busy!
Late at night, we had a craving for chicken wings, and despite the late hour, they took our order and prepared the wings in just 20 minutes. I ordered the Maui Wowii spicy grilled wings, and they were incredibly delicious. The kids got the buffalo and BBQ dry rub wings, and they were also very tasty. I highly recommend it!
Man what?!?! Out of all of the restaurants that my wife and I visited while here at Hilton Head, this place is definitely the favorite!!! Great southern style entrees and sides such as smoked-fried chicken, smoked wings, smoked Turkey, collard greens, Mac and cheese, etc!!! Not to mention the seafood options such as fried shrimp, and fish tacos!!! You have got to try the fried Mac & cheese! Great atmosphere, friendly staff!!! Just an awesome experience overall. Great way to bring our vacation to a close!!!!
