Food was delicious ! Service was good ! Great to sit outside with the great view of the ocean. The flash fried calamari was very fresh and tender. The Crab Cake is a must get ! It’s enough for 2 people. The clam chowder was good and very fresh. Last but not least the local sea scallops were beyond fresh and tender melts like butter. Would def recommend going for some good fresh seafood and an amazing outdoor seating view of the ocean.
I absolutely love love love this place!! Oakland's is an amazing restaurant with delicious seafood and beautiful views. It is not often that water front restaurants deliver this high quality cuisine. I am also thoroughly impressed with their dishes. I have had their salmon and shrimp (both pictured below) as well as the mussels, shrimp quesadilla, short rib, and scallops. Everything is absolutely delicious. The service is also outstanding with a young and super friendly waitstaff. There is often live music to enjoy and a packed outdoor bar with beautiful sunset views.
Whether its a date night, family dinner, or get to together with friends, Oaklands is an excellent choice. They do not take reservations so the wait can be up to 1.5 hours for an outside table however the nearby scenary is gorgeous with a beach across the street making the wait go by fast. And believe me, this place is worth the wait!!
If it’s two or three of you, skip the dining room and sit at the bar. Great service, great drinks. Justin’s a great bartender. If he’s working, you’re probably going to have a great timeS Great views as well. Highly recommended!!
One of the best meals at a restaurant that I have ever had. I can't find one negative to speak of. The waiter was diligent. The scenery was lovely. The food was absolutely amazing. Try the chowder. Try the specials. Try a dessert. You won't be mad.

Excellent location with spectacular views and sunsets. My favorite dish is the Vegetable & Chicken Penne which has a large portion that I usually take 1/2 home for lunch the next day.
This was one of our best seafood restaurant experiences. We had grilled swordfish with grilled flatbread. Scenic view, well-designed facility, with professional staff. The best value for the money, and everything was reasonably priced.
My second time here and it was fantastic. Spent some time at the bar while waiting to be seated, and the drinks were delicious. Note this place does not take reservations, so expect to wait on a weekend.
We had the calamari and shrimp quesadillas for starters. For entree, we ordered the local fluke, seared tuna, mediterranean swordfish, scallops, and halibut. Everything was delicious.
We were celebrating a birthday and left very satisfied with the service and food! Highly recommend.
Love this restaurant. The food is well prepared, presented, and scrumptious. Bartenders were very attentive for the entire time we were there and it was busy. Looking forward to the next visit.

Back at Oakland's They don't take reservations so make sure you come early. If you come early you can get drinks from the bar and some appetizers and sit outside in like a wooden bar area that overlooks the shinnecock inlet. It's just a fabulous view while you wait for your table to be ready. There is a bar out back with a band. If you prefer to be out there. You can watch the sunset from the back at around 7:30 8:00. The night we were there it was a 90° day so it was a warm inside but they have a breeze that goes through the restaurant because of where it's located right on the inlet on one side and the bay on the other. Drinks are always served in good portions and the service is always great. Food is very good and the menu is not big. Got a dozen oysters tonight and it was $36. But the rest of the menu is not that expensive. And in line with what you going to pay out in the Hamptons. There aren't that many restaurants with such a beautiful location anywhere That also have good food and good service.
