We absolutely enjoyed our wedding day there. The scenery, photo opportunities, decor were fantastic, and the food was good too. The staff was mostly kind and flexible, but there were moments that we felt they were rude, passive aggressive, and rushing towards us, our family, and our guests. We were still satisfied with the planning, the decor, the collaboration, and how it all came together, I just think some of the staff could use an occasional attitude check, and work on their customer service.
What an awesome experience working with The Country Plantation House for a wedding venue! Not only is the setting absolutely gorgeous, but what really made the day special was the kind, gentle manner in which the staff took care of everyone! They are very experienced in how to put on a wedding and met our every need on top of that. From the flower arrangements, the food, the flow of the evening from ceremony to dinner, dj and reception, this staff, Sandy, Linda, Jimmy, and all, are to be highly commended for a job well done! Everything was just as planned and stated, down to the small details that the bride and groom requested! Thank you so much for a job well done! We could not have asked for any better!
I have stayed here numerous times. IMHO it is the nicest place to stay within 100 miles. It is out in the Country, but I LOVE that! It is beautiful and peaceful and extremely relaxing. I would recommend staying during the week because weddings book out the weekends fast. The same owners have a place in town in Greenville KY and that is nice as well.
