Yen Jing Chinese Restaurant

I ordered soup for 2 & egg rolls to go. I needed a couple items from DG,which only took approx. 10 mins. So by the time I walked across the street & sat down, they had my order ready to go. It was fresh & hot , very tasty..People were friendly & wearing their masks.. Ummmmmh Good! Especially on a cold nite. Thanks YENG ZING!....

We were unsure on whether to visit this place. Let me ASSURE you, it was awesome. My wife and I ordered a bowl of soup each, a pu pu platter, and two entrees. Mind you, this was all off their lunch menu, which we were told were smaller than the dinner. Holy Moly. Not only was this in the top 3 Chinese restraints we have EVER had, the portions were enough for six people. I had egg drop soup and my wife had wonton soup. The bowls were big enough to soak your feet in. The pu pu platter was huge, and so was the General Tso and broccoli chicken. We ate on them for three days. Go and enjoy their food, reasonable prices, great food and service. This is coming from two self professed food snobs.

I am from Detroit where you get real Chinese food, my wife ordered some shrimp egg foo young patties and was told that they would not put the shrimp inside the patty that they put the shrimp in the gravy. That's not shrimp egg foo young that is egg foo young with shrimp gravy and the gravy is wrong. In Detroit the patties are made to order and the patties have shrimp and bean sprouts inside, every order comes with shrimp fried rice or white rice. This place is a joke as is the other restaurants and we really wish things were different.

The lunch menu had a great selection. The spare ribs were delicious and the prices were reasonable for the amount of food they serve. The decor was also impressive. The wood carving piece they had on display was beautiful. All in all I have to say this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to.
