Pop's Old Fashion Cheeseburgers

I've eaten here several times when in town visiting friends. They both RAVE about this place, and have for several years. "Best burgers I've ever had" and "Dude their burgers are so good". To be fair, they aren't bad. Can't really go wrong with a burger. But in my opinion they are by far not the best burgers I've ever tasted. To me, they're very mediocre, average at best. I've eaten frozen cheeseburgers from a gedunk that had more flavor. But, taste is very subjective. I wouldn't tell someone to not go here. They have good service and good food for not that much money. But if you're looking for a burger to blow your mind, you might want to go somewhere else.

This is one of those places that's so so good it can barely handle it's workload! The burgers are amazing, the cheesesteaks are out of this world but I am not a big fan of their French fries "shoe string type I prefer a meaty crinkle cut myself so personal preference here really," but if you even somewhat like soup treat yourself to the most amazing vegetable soup you can even dream up here. It's only seasonal so if it's not cold out they likely won't have it, call first! Also pay attention to their business hours they do not serve dinner. The chef, David is amazing and if you want something specific he might be able to make it for you if you give him a bit of notice, I ordered an entire batch of the soup I mentioned earlier so could freeze some and have it all year, he told me any soup I could imagine he would cook up for me and he had many many recipes on stand by!

"Short of having my dad make a burger just for me, this is the best burger you can get". That is what my wife said when we visited for the first time today. Prices are fair and you definitely get what you pay for. The staff was courteous and service was quick. Items are freshly prepared and cooked to order. Pop's is consistently rated as the best burger joint in town and after today, I have to agree. If you need somewhere to go for lunch, check Pop's out.
