Chico's Mexican Restaurant

Great food! Terrific Service! My son took me out for a birthday lunch. We frequent Chicos a lot, mostly on Friday nights, but today was a special lunch. Our lunch was great, and the fried ice cream was on point. The highlight of our meal was our server Lexi! She was great and very attentive. Our orders were perfect, and we loved her smile and sweet personality. Love having this local restaurant in our community for so many years!

*Usually a 5 star experience* I have come to Chicos recently and the past 3 times I visited, I had the same server. He’s a young man named James, long, brunette hair with glasses. The service has not been good. And I’m being lenient. He constantly ignores the table, walks away while we’re still trying to order or ask for something, takes an unnecessarily long amount of time returning to tables to refill drinks, bring checks/take checks, and messes up orders. On top of that, he incorrectly charged my card. I am extremely disappointed as I usually receive good to excellent service here. I am not the type to review over anything minor, but to have come here and the 3 most recent times it has been unpleasant is upsetting.

So unprofessional. I was sitting outside with a group of 3 and one of my friends began to feel sick after eating their acp and drinking almost 1 glass of their lime margarita. They became violently ill and projectile vomited onto the floor outside after consuming this food, and instead of asking “are you ok?” The server said “you need to leave.” I offered to clean the mess up and was told that it was no problem, and after apologizing to staff about the mess instead of being met with understanding one of the kitchen staff loudly yelled “out”. Watch out for Chico’s, food poisoning may be met with cold rude behavior from staff, there was zero kindness or understanding.

Friendly restaurant with outside dinning and a great bar for small gatherings with friends. I usually order the fish tacos with a salad since I'm trying to consume less at lunch. I still leave room for one beer, since enjoying life is a priority. On nice days I most always eat on their outside patio to enjoy the weather and watch the people go by. The food here is good, and the produce fresh. The staff is excellent and aims to please.
