The Kava Konnection

Tried Kava for the first time yesterday. They were very welcoming and informative (we had stumbled in parched and looking for a cold alcohol free beverage). The initial free taste was amazing. We relaxed and were chatting up a storm. Highly recommend if you want to have a deep conversation, play a game (with the free games provided) or just hang out in an alcohol free atmosphere.

Took my wife here for a date. Relaxing atmosphere, games easily accessible, seating arrangements designed for conversation. The kava tender was knowledgeable and friendly. The kava was good and really put us both in a great mood. A perfect date. Would recommend. I recommend you open a tab, I didn't and I kept coming back for more.

*Update* I want to thank the co-owner for the follow-up and sending the package out ASAP. I greatly appreciate it. I have Trigeminal Neuralgia and Small Fiber Neuropathy; upon doing research Kava was listed as an alternative for the pain. I followed the instructions, warmed it as a tea, and added honey. It has an earthy taste, and it does calm my facial nerve pain, especially when I'm working in the garden; heat is not my friend. Thank you again. * I purchased their Kava from the website. I'm local, but due to health challenges/medication, I’m unable to drive. Delivery was the best option for me. I anticipated a tracking number within a week. That didn't happen. I reached out twice with zero response. If I would have received a response, even one stating they're running behind on shipments, I would have waited. Unfortunately, I requested a refund from Pay Pal, it was granted, so I did receive my money back. I'm sad because I love supporting local small businesses.

My nephew recommended I give this place a try, and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing, I've been coming for nine months and, despite being a 40-something, I feel right at home. The Kava Colada is my go to - although the on-tap Kombucha is also fantastic. The staff are all fabulous: Jessica K, Ryan, and Katarina are quite enjoyable to talk with! As someone who has never cared for the bar scene, this place is in a class of it's own. Give it a try if you're in the mood for something different.
