Oak & Honey

I'll start by saying that we came in on Valentine's Day weekend after 11:00pm. We walked in and there were empty dishes EVERYWHERE! It took over 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by a bar tender, which was so frustrating. They did Last Call while we were still waiting on our first drinks. It seemed like a really cool place and I'm sure it would have been so much better if we had come earlier on a different night.

Nolan, Evan and Michael took care of me over the course of two trips to greenville. Michael makes one hell of a cocktail, Evan and Nolan are no slouched either. All of the bar staff and hotel employees make you feel like you matter. 10/10 would recommend Oak & Honey. Great food, amazing cocktails, and out of this world service. Please go give them your money.

Food was great! Service at the bar could not have been worse. Waited 5 minutes before physically flagging a bartender down who walked past me several times and did not even notice me….and there were only 6 people at the bar at the time.! Everybody just walking around with heads down and completely oblivious to the customers at the bar. We ordered food and did not receive silverware or sharing plates until after food was served. One of my biggest food service pet peeves! And every time food came out they had no idea where it went. First time dining here and it was a total disappointment.

I would give zero stars, if possible. Sat for over 15 minutes (on a Friday evening with almost no customers) waiting to order while at least three servers stood at the bar leaning on their elbows talking. We walked out and will not be back. Way too many excellent restaurants in Greenville with excellent service to waste my time and money here.

I stay at this hotel very often, and for the most part it’s a good experience, however after a rather [censored] day I come in and want a drink. The card given to me at check-in says the bar closes at 11, so at 10:30 on a Friday night I sit down at the bar to be told they’ve already had last call. [Censored] ridiculous. Closing a bar over half an hour early on a Friday night when you’re still very much full of customers? If you advertise closing at 11:00, then don’t make up some other time to close. That’s dishonest business.

The good-service was friendly, welcoming and polite. The space is well decorated and clean. Drinks were were decent as well. Not as good- The food was sub par. The burger was dry and flavorless. The fries also no flavor and the general quality tasted cheap (they were hot which helps) but Need to step it up to Greenville’s food level.
