When my wife and I are looking for a great night out in Green Bay we always know that the service, atmosphere, and food at Black & Tan are going to be top notch. The signature Black & Tan steak is our favorite meal. Chef Aaron and his staff always exceed our expectations. Can’t recommend the B&T enough!
I absolutely love this place...we drive an hour for dinner here and it's so worth it!! Went valentine's day and my birthday and the food is awesome and the staff the same...great place to go for a special occasion! ! I highly recommend eating here you will come back!!
I went for restaurant week and the food was really good. My favorite aspect was the wine selection and the crab cakes. The ahi tuna was also very good with the goat cheese ravioli. The only reason this was a 4 instead of a 5 was due to the fact that we had to wait about 45 mins to pay our bill. Also definately recommend the bread service which was very delicious.
Great place, the atmosphere was good and lively. The bartender even was creative enough to make designs in our craft beer foam.
Very excellent service and food. Meat was a little undercooked from what I ordered but was still great. Some of the pictures are deceiving as far as how upscale this place is as far as service goes

Our last experience at Black and Tan, on a Friday night, was quite wonderful. We had their Friday special for 2, which is an amazing value with an appetizer, two entrees, desert and a bottle of house wine. We'll be back on Fridays just for the special!
We started with the blackened tuna, which was perfectly seared with a wonderful flavor. I had the black and tan steak, while my wife had the salmon. Both were great and perfectly prepared, with a lot of flavor put on each dish. The desert to finish up the meal was a well done, and nicely spicy, carrot cake, but was cold and needed to be brought up closer to room temperature before serving.
The bread course is still the best around - all homemade and delicious.
It was a wonderful meal all around, from the service to the food. We will be back, and probably often.
Another plus is their lounge area - quiet, great service, a really nice selection if beers (Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale!) wine. Their lounge food menu is nicely thought out, inexpensive and delicious. It's really been a go to place for us.
Got the tenderloin which never disappoints along with the crab cakes. It was a delightful experience and had an amazing atmosphere. The service was good but not outstanding. I would definitely go back because I saw a plate at a different table that had a huge ribeye steak and I heard that is a Friday special. I don't have a pic of the tenderloin but I have pics of the rest of the table.
My wife's and my favorite place in Green Bay! Their appetizer menu is unbelievable. The atmosphere is very modern and comfortable.
My wife and I had our first date at Black and Tan so we held our wedding ceremony there. The experience was nothing short of incredible!
Staff had the room prepared day in advance. The service was incredible during the ceremony and reception afterwards. Every single one of our guests complimented us on the venue, service, and especially food and drinks.
Our wedding was perfect in large part due to the efforts of the Black and Tan staff!
