Miss Lily's

Miss Lily's is one of my favorite stops when I visit the Toledo area.  They serve a great breakfast, very good lunch and dinners, and always have a wide selection of truly top-notch and very home-made pies available for dessert or take-away (my favorite is peach, but I've never had one I didn't like).  I've always found the staff to be friendly and the service to be good.  It's a nice, open-space restaurant with a homey/old-fashioned feel where I feel comfortable and where I love to enjoy a great meal.  They have a fairly simple menu -- which is to say, not so many choices that you have a hard time even figuring out what to order, but they also have daily or weekly specials that change over time so you have chances to try something different from visit to visit if you like.  And the prices seem right in line to me considering the quality and quantity.  Just about perfect in my book.  I give them a 4.5 because they are near the top of my "gotta visit" places up and down the I-75 corridor.  There may be the occasional fancier place I like to go once a year, but Miss Lily's is a place I can go more than once even on a short trip to the area.  (I've probably been about 6 times a year for the past 4 or 5 years, most recently in April 2016, and I live about 500 miles away : )

We were there for lunch today with a group of nine. The food and service were excellent. The menu is not huge but has enough variety to please anyone. Light touches of herb & spice indicate a desire to please and get you back. They succeeded as far as we're concerned! I want to experience several things on that menu.

I really enjoyed Miss Lily's last Saturday. It was our first time there I had the beef and noodles and my daughter had pasta. Both were excellent and very large servings. The hostess gave us a friendly greeting and no wait for a table. The server was also friendly and knowledgeable about the menu for us first timers. We will go back the next time we're in the area. We just ate the breakfast buffet here and pie also..the food was great. The service was excellent..our server kayden was wonderful. The restrooms were very clean. We were so happy to eat inside with the whole covid thing..everyone wore masks and we had a great experience..we will be back!
