Their Green Curry noodles hit the spot. It's a vegetarian dish but you do have the option to add some chicken. What it lacks in heat, it more than makes up in flavor.
Very solid beer selection both on draft and otherwise. The schnitzel dish was delicious and very complex in flavor. I would absolutely go there again!
Delicious, inventive Gastropub fare with an excellent array of craft drink options as well. Good value given the quality of food, drink, and service. Lovely space for an intimate night out.
This was our first visit to Grand Rapids and we happened to be in the Cherry Hill area for dinner. As it was crowded, we had to wait about twenty minutes for a table. We enjoyed a great beer in the bar area. They have a cool flat screen listing the beer and cocktail selections. Our waiter, Drew, was very personable and efficient. We enjoyed burgers, falafel, and awesome wiener schnitzel, with spatzle! Would definitely come back!

Great place with a very diverse menu that works with our work crowd ... some people want a plain burger others want unique dishes. Everything they do is well done and worth trying.

Yummy!!!. We took our son here for his 20th birthday and were so happy with the choice. The Macaroni and Cheese was spectacular, the BBQ Pork amazing and the Spaetzle outstanding. I love the idea of a cocktail of the month and craft liquor of the month. Add to that the excellent service and great atmosphere and this is now one of our favorite Grand Rapids locations. Seriously awesome. I had the special which was a pork chop with bread pudding. The best porkchop I have ever had, and that is saying alot from someone raised on a pig farm. Beer selection was very good also. Indian spiced rice pudding for desert was very good also.
THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!! The Chicken and Waffles as well as the Sage Spätzle are just amazing! You can taste the freshness in each and every bite! And for dessert we received a complementary Chocolate Pot de Creme! Everyone is more than willing to assist you and are super friendly! Ask for Johnny as your waiter! Nicest guy!
An excellent place for upscale casual dining. I've been to The Green Well many times and have rarely been disappointed. Their menu is consistently excellent, as is their service. If I have one gripe, it's that the portion sizes can tend to be a bit inconsistent and as a result I've had a couple meals there where I've not felt full afterward. In those cases, though, I've remedied the situation by ordering a dessert. Not to pat myself on the back, but that was a pretty good solution to that dilemma.
Simply put it was an unexpected treasure my husband and I found spur of the moment. He got the steak diane and it was one the most flavorful and delicious steaks I've ever tasted. I ordered the mushroom spaetzle and it was breathtaking. The melding of all the different favors seems like it should not go together but it is one of the most delicious dishes I have had in a very long time.

We had the lettuce wraps for an appetizer, and then we shared three plates: The lamb curry, the burrito, and a salad (I can't remember what it was called...oops). Everything was absolutely delicious.
They could work on their service just a wee bit...our server had too many tables to wait on, and so we ended up sitting for a LONG time waiting for our bill.
But the ambience was nice, so we didn't mind. :)
I'd go here again.

This place was recommended to me by a local, so i thought I'd check it out. Cool place with interesting menu. Not what I expected, but Food was great and service was great. I think it was a special, but toffee sticky pudding was fantastic.
Had lunch at The Green Well. Service was great. A lot of people were enjoying the last of our warm weather at the outdoor dining. My Cuban was really good with a side of seasoned fries.
Great fresh food. The outside dinning was very nice our meals were fresh and delicious. The server was nice and informative. Great dining experience. So glad we chose to eat here.
The atmosphere was great! We had truffle fries, avocado toast, creole shrimps & grits. The portion of fries were generous. Loved the slight sweetness of honey on the avocado toast.
Loved the outside seating! We never felt rushed while enjoying our monthly get-together! The Food was amazing, fresh and something for everyone!

My wife and I ate here for the first time with some family for a birthday dinner and o was very impressed with the food! All dishes around the table were well prepared, great flavors, and great presentation!
For drinks I started with an Old Fashion, which isn’t a traditional/classic Old Fashion. It was smooth, but I can’t say I would get it again here. My wife ordered a mule and it was your basic mule. The drinks wouldn’t be the thing that makes us come back, haha.
My wife ordered the Broccoli for an appetizer. It was good. Little too salty for me, but everyone else around the table liked it.
For dinner my wife ordered the Mac N Cheese and I ordered the Michigan Turkey Sandwich. The Mac N Cheese was really good and a large serving size. It was loaded with chicken, bacon, ham, and peas. The peas sealed the deal for me since I love peas and will put them in my Mac n cheese every chance I can! The Michigan Turkey Sandwich was probably the best overall turkey sandwich I have ever had. The only element I feel it could use was some smoke! Otherwise, there was a ton of protein, which I love, and the combination of all the ingredients just meshed so well! The side salad was even delicious!
We will definitely be back to try more!
A nice alternative to your traditional menu. Service is always friendly and top notch. Thursday is nacho day, and you will need your appetite. They also have plenty of vegan/vegetarian options/substitutions.
Soo good! I’ve been here countless times and it never disappoints. Pricey but consistently great quality food and large portions. The only thing I’ve ever gotten that I did not like is the chicken strips (chewy and tough for $18). Everything else, including the service, is 10/10.

Second Update: I’m a bit disappointed to say I think the quality and service has declined a touch. The last two times we went out food was good but not great, which makes it hard to justify the price. I ordered a medium-well burger and it was pretty raw, I couldn’t eat it. The service was also slow. We often get the curry with chicken, but now priced at $27 it’s just too steep for what it is. I’ll still be back, but will probably reserve this place for happy hour and lunch only.
One of the top places I've visited. During a deal they had going I got one of their burgers. Absolutely amazing and one of the best I've had. The bun had a hard crust with a super soft interior and the burger itself was juicy without making everything else soggy. Completely worth the price and will definitely go again!

The truffle fries were great! My friends got some rice bowl that looked hearty and delicious. I got the chicken and waffles which was good too. The ham and cheese grilled sandwich was delicious and comes with creamy rich tomato soup. Will visit again for sure. Loved it!
