After several years, I revisited The Greenwell in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. The star of the meal was the shrimp and grits, a dish that resonated with me in every bite. The shrimp was cooked to perfection - tender and flavorful, complementing the creamy, rich grits superbly. The seasoning was spot-on, enhancing the natural flavors without overpowering them. The Greenwell has maintained its high standards, offering a culinary experience that truly impressed. It’s a testament to their consistent quality and creativity in the kitchen. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying meal that feels both gourmet and comforting.

One of the top places I've visited. During a deal they had going I got one of their burgers. Absolutely amazing and one of the best I've had. The bun had a hard crust with a super soft interior and the burger itself was juicy without making everything else soggy. Completely worth the price and will definitely go again!

My wife and I ate here for the first time with some family for a birthday dinner and o was very impressed with the food! All dishes around the table were well prepared, great flavors, and great presentation! For drinks I started with an Old Fashion, which isn’t a traditional/classic Old Fashion. It was smooth, but I can’t say I would get it again here. My wife ordered a mule and it was your basic mule. The drinks wouldn’t be the thing that makes us come back, haha. My wife ordered the Broccoli for an appetizer. It was good. Little too salty for me, but everyone else around the table liked it. For dinner my wife ordered the Mac N Cheese and I ordered the Michigan Turkey Sandwich. The Mac N Cheese was really good and a large serving size. It was loaded with chicken, bacon, ham, and peas. The peas sealed the deal for me since I love peas and will put them in my Mac n cheese every chance I can! The Michigan Turkey Sandwich was probably the best overall turkey sandwich I have ever had. The only element I feel it could use was some smoke! Otherwise, there was a ton of protein, which I love, and the combination of all the ingredients just meshed so well! The side salad was even delicious! We will definitely be back to try more!
