Best cup of coffee I've ever had.
Truth be told, when I first walked in, I was disappointed with the limited menu options, but the staff was friendly and very helpful and crafted a custom drink just for me. Then the price scared me a bit, but I did have a lot of extras and substitutions and it's expensive to be picky lol. But when I sipped my coffee, any and all qualms I originally had with the place went away.
BEST. COFFEE. EVER.
It was rich and bold, yet sweet and comforting. It was like a hug from the coffee angels. I swear, Lionel Richie started singing in my head; it was *that* good.
If you are someone who doesn't like to spend more than $2.00 on coffee, then this isn't the place for you. However, if you are someone who pays for excellence, and this is excellence, then I highly recommend this shop.
I will definitely be back.
The brazilin pour over is on point. I do not usually drink coffee black but I can when I have it from here!
For over a decade, Rowster Coffee has served the Grand Rapids scene with small-batch specialty coffee and hospitality. One of the greatest aspects that makes Rowster stand out from the many cafes in the area is the table service delivery, which I haven't seen at any other shop. In-house syrups paired with extremely balanced espresso make for some of the best lattes in the city. While the Wealthy street location has served East town for many years, Rower's Club is a breath of fresh air for the west side of the city. With an open, window lit space and large seating capacity, Rower's serves as a wonderful spot to bring groups large or small. Rowster is a mainstay for the GR coffee scene, whether you're a new coffee lover or a long-time Mug Club member.

I really loved this place! When it comes to coffee shops I am always looking for a place with great atmosphere and vibes, quality coffee, and cozy seating! This place has all of those things!
The coffee was really good quality! Also, the interior design is really tasteful and calming, and there are huge windows wrapping around the sides of the coffee shop! That's a huge plus for me, because I always like to day dream out the window while sipping my coffee!
There are a lot of selections for seating which I really loved. And also, it's huge! You could definitely bring a group of 7 to 10 friends here for some studying if you wanted to!
The seating selection is actually comfortable! Sometimes at coffee shops I find that the seats are cool looking but actually inconvenient or uncomfortable to sit in, but all the options for seating here are actually comfortable and you could sit here for a few hours writing if you wanted to!
Also, I went on a Saturday morning and it wasn't crowded or loud, which I personally love. It's really quiet and relaxing!
Their almond milk latte is my absolute most favorite thing in the world! We live in Texas now and I make it a point to stop at least once when we come to town... If I can make it more than once I am in heaven!!!! Love this place and these people!

Fabulous staff. Great coffee. I work a lot from coffee shops and this place has it all. Some window spaces that are standing desk height, big community table in the middle and some soft chairs for reading or enjoying a conversation. The music is at a good level and it is very bright inside. Parking is a little tough, but that's ok it's worth it.
Very chill atmosphere downtown. Tasty, locally roasted coffee. Pour over, espressos and more.

Wonderful place. Clean, spaceous, and variety of seating for every kind of person which I haven't seen in any coffee shop I visited around here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My order was exactly what I wanted. I really hope the mug to be bit bigger for the price. But overall great place nearby my college.
Rowster's coffee is one of the best in GR. This location has large tables, an open atmosphere, and friendly staff. They also make their own fresh almond milk. On Wednesdays, a professional accordion player performs in the morning and he is fantastic! I love coming here.
Went there this afternoon and had a great latte. Liked the atmosphere and the seating that faces the street. Not sure why some of the other reviewers thought it was over priced. Seemed in line with what I would normally pay at any other coffee shop. Would definitely go again
