This place is awesome, my food was delish!!! Also love the atmosphere, and I loved the hazelnut coffee!!! I've lived here for 9 years and for most of that time didn't even know it was there. It's now one of my favorite places!!! 😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩

Service was nice and prompt, but the real reason I'm giving the Baker's Wife 5 stars is because the sourdough is AMAZING. I can't attest to its authenticity as a "San Francisco" sourdough, but it is a bold, delicious flavor that anyone who even kind of like sourdough should try. Go there now. Eat it.
The Bakes Wife. Great coffee, outstanding pastries, and an amazing atmosphere. Its small size gives a great old village baker feel. The taist of the cinnamon rolls and pretzels are fantastic. 10/10 I would recommend the Bakers Wife to anyone strolling through Grand Haven.
Get the pretzel!!! Everything was delicious. And I went hungry so I bought a lot!! Also, had the friendliest staff! Ask them questions- they will have the answer!

I visit about once a week and have never been disappointed.the desserts are amazing- my favorites are the coconut macaroons. Fresh local bread, which they will gladly slice for you. And their famous soft pretzels are to die for. They also have a good breakfast and lunch menu with a good amount of vegetarian options. I love the local small town feel.
The cookies, scones, muffins, and breads are all delicious, but you can't leave without picking up some pretzels. The best I have had and I've eaten many a pretzel. The taste and texture are perfect. We try to bring some home to our friends but they never survive the trip home without being eaten.
The food is amazing! The bread is fresh, and the treats are sweet. Coffee is always fantastic. Nice locations and great atmosphere. My only complaint, and its not a big enough one to take the 5 star away, was the music. I'm not sure if it's always playing techno or if it was just the time I was here. But was a little odd for a bakery/sandwich shop.
It's a nice & cozy place to chill out after you're done shopping or before you even start. The ladies will try to be flexible with your request. The pastries are awesome. Love the coconut cake, scones, muffins & pretzels. They also serves pretty good sandwich too. The restroom is always clean. You can also purchase some cool stuff for your home or as a gift
We stopped into this bakery to "just look". The moment we walked in we were greeted and they gave a sample of fresh baked pretzel. That's all it took. A few moments later we had purchased a pretzel, coffee, chocolate scone and cranberry muffin. It was wonderful and so good we came back the very next day. Wonderful food and great service.
