I went to this restaurant with three other friends for dinner. The kitchen was being updated/remodeled so they had a small menu. The smaller menu still had many options to choose from. I had the burger. It was done perfectly as I ordered medium. They had a large wine list along with beer and other alcoholic beverages. We sat in the bar which was quiet and comfortable. We had a server who was knowledgeable and answered our questions. I will definitely go back.
Saturday evening, the place was packed but we had very little wait time. The hostess and our server were both very friendly. The Paisley Pig BBQ sandwich was one of the best I've had. I highly recommend it.
So good! Had to find a place with gluten free, vegetarian options as we were passing through and got really lucky with this place. The Buffalo cauliflower app was great and I had the quinoa power bowl which was also delicious!
Paisley Pig is a super cool place. The ambiance and service are great. The real standout is the menu, which has a lot of unique options. Things like Crab Rangoon pizza, seafood nachos, and crispy duck and waffle.
We did the Nashville Hot chicken waffle sandwich and the Birria Quesadilla. The Nashville hot was good, but not hot at all. The Birria Quesadilla was also good, but was closer to brisket than Birria. But it was all very tasty. We also got the cheese curds, which were square. Never seen that before.
Overall excellent experience. We'll definitely be back to try some of the more oddball items.
We rarely go here because they always look so busy. But don't let that steer you away! I now regret all the time we skipped out on this place! First off, the big ol glasses they give you for your drinks are awesome! I drink water like a fish and they didn't have to come back every 2 minutes to refill my glass! Our waitress was fantastic. Super friendly and super speedy. We ordered the Seafood nachos and they are absolutely to die for! But beware! They are totally enough for a 2 person meal! I was so satisfied with the seafood nachos that I didn't want my lobster roll to come out! But I'm glad it did because it was packed high with huge chunks of lobster and crab. REAL lobster and crab might I add! I could barely eat half of it. I wasn't a fan of the onion rings. They seemed pretty overcooked but that's nothing compared to how amazing everything else was. My partner ordered a double mushroom smash burger and it was ginormous! As well as super juicy and delicious! I think we found our new favorite place to eat!
Absolutely lovely experience. High quality local ingredients combined in interesting ways to make the most delicious and memorable food and drinks.
All 4 of us enjoyed our Reuben sandwiches & fries to go. We also enjoyed watching the robots in action while waiting for our order.
Update: Returned to Michigan four months later & brought in a party of six. A wonderful time was had by all, thanks to the stellar service of Sarah <- she's a keeper! Food was excellent.
Update 2: Back in Michigan again. Discovered that the Greek Wedge is delicious! Something to look forward to on our next visit!
At first I wasn't sure how this experience was going to go as it took a few minutes for anyone to greet us and a couple more to be seated, even though it was a somewhat chill Sunday afternoon, but it was all up from there!! The service from that point forward was awesome, and the food was even better!! Their whitefish dip was top notch with a great variety of bread and crackers to put it on. They have a number of vegetarian options making it hard to pick as they all sounded so good, but I settled on pizza and am happy I did!! My wife also loved her beet and pineapple veggie burger! We will be back again for sure 😊
This place has some of the best food around.
To start we had the pulled pork nachos which was enough to share at a table of 6 adults and 2 kids (we reserved ahead of time online and table was ready on time)
The alcoholic beverage selections delivered. You could actually taste the alcohol so you know you weren't getting ripped off 😂
For the main course I chose the fried chicken which was melt in the mouth. The gravy that went with it was very good. The green beans had a great flavor to it...there were no complaints with my meal at all.
My friend got the Dill pickle pizza which was entertaining to see on the menu since not many places have it.
We didn't have room for dessert since everything was so filling sadly.
I think the best part was the cat robot that delivered the takeout food to the front haha. So cute!
Staff was also super friendly. When I visit Michigan again I will for sure go back here again.
Everything was fantastic! They got us in earlier than our reservation. We had a build your own pizza. It was delicious and huge!
Amazing food, The service is fast and friendly, the menu is extensive.
I love the sweet potato.
I definitely recommend this great gastropub in Grand Haven. It was a busy night, but we got in easily with a reservation.
The onion rings and sweet potato fries are divine! I'm not usually a sweet potato person, but these are worth converting for. The dip they came with was also really delicious and unique. The brisket burger was tasty, but the brisket was a bit overcooked and dry, fortunately it tasted so good it made up for that.
There are also plenty of drinks to choose from, but do note they have nothing on draft - everything is in bottles/cans.
