Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Today is 5-12-22 and i went in for an online order and i walked up to the online order pickup station looking for my order and trying to read the names but what looks like the boss told me not to touch anything and was being rude about it. He couldve said it nicer but was pushy and said it was rudeness. He should honestly not be a boss if he doesn’t know how to talk to people.

Worst experience. Do not go to Glenview Tropical smoothie The owner told me to shut up because they ordered my food wrong and he blamed his attitude on technology issues. This older man who said he was the owner should not have this business. I'll be filing a complaint with corporate Unbelievable how this man spoke to me.

Ordered on the app 10 min before we got there. Showed up and had to wait another 25 minutes to get our food and drinks. Wasted whole lunch waiting to get food and drinks. Employees clicked that food and drinks were ready in the system on the app, but still had to wait 15 minutes after that. If you love waiting your whole lunch to get a smoothie and food, and being forced to eat it while driving back to work, then come here!

I don’t usually come to this location but I did today and they made my smoothie wrong it was all watery and I told them it was not up to par and the employee was great and decided to re make it but the manager came up and took the cup out the trash to see what the smoothie looked like. Then proceeded to say this is how they look when they are made after it was already being remade, so there was no point in that. I managed a tropical for 4 months that is not how I would have handled that by confronting a unsatisfied customer. This is a unprofessional establishment get it together.Periodt.

We walked into this location as we do about 2-3 a week for our regular smoothie. We consider ourselves to be quite the “couponers” and the owner didn’t seem to appreciate that we were using a coupon on our visits. She came from the back after we had already purchased our smoothies and accused us of using the same coupon on our visits. We explained to her that wasn’t the case, there is a sheet of coupons provided in our weekly paper and we were simply putting the sheet to use. She seemed to keep trying to justify why she had an issue with us using the coupons even after us explaining this to her, and we decided this was just unnecessary and unprofessional, as her means to justify just lacked basis. Needless to say we will no longer be visiting this location Due to the poor service provided by the owner Lu. As we were getting ready to leave, the cashier apologized on her behalf and admitted to us that her commentary and approach was out of line and just unnecessary.
