Einstein Bros. Bagels

I can’t believe Einstein went from my favorite breakfast place to losing my business. It all started when they closed the lake avenue location which had competent employees who seemed to care. This location I have never seen such inept employees working for an established chain restaurant. This location does not respect your time or schedule. The app says order 15-20 minutes ahead of time. This was accurate for lake ave, not phingstin. I would order 45 minutes ahead of time cause I knew they were never ready and still I would have people with walk in order arrive and leave before my mobile order. Not to mention the place was abandoned alone Saturday at 7:20 AM! I drove all the way there, the lights were off, and I didn’t get a refund for the app. The following Monday after another 45 minutes mobile order wait I officially declared I will never use Einstein again. Update: 5/24/2022 After trying Einstein's again after about a week things seem to be running smoother. I see some of the old employees at the Lake location here and It seems they got rid of some of the dead weight on the team. Hopefully they can keep this up

We have been coming here Saturday mornings on and off for about 2 years. They seem to really struggle with the app orders. The priority are people coming in person, app ordered are filled on a “if we have time” basis. This time we went in to order- the lady was throwing (literally like a basketball) our bagels into the box- one ended up on the counter- thankfully she didn’t put it in the container. But a little respect for the items I’m buying would be nice. And why is the seating area still closed? It’s time to open up.

I have never been more upset with an Einstein Bagel shop than this one. Not only are their bagel coatings so lacking from the standard Einstein, but so too is the schmear. This place was so ridiculously skimpy on the schmear that the bagel was extremely dry. and I had to throw it out. The everything bagel had no poppy seeds. Totally ridiculous and will never go here ever again.
