So my boyfriend and I were at Luigi's picking up some Vape supplies when I look across the parking lot and exclaim, "Dude! There's a place called The Cheba Hut? What the heck do they sell exactly?"
My boyfriend, a life long Phoenician, explains, "It's a sub shop but the subs have like, weed names and stuff." We decided to pop in for lunch.
I can see what others mean when they talk about sensory overload, there's a lot going on visually when you walk in but don't let those weed stickers fool ya, their service and food is top notch. It took us a few minutes to decide on what we wanted but our "counter dude" was patient, pleasant and knowledgeable. I got the 5-0 and my man got the AK-47. Wow, those bad boys were delicious! We ate till we were stuffed and took the rest home. Our experience FAR exceeded my expectations which admittedly weren't the highest. Next time I'm at Luigi's I'll be sure to pop in for another sub, I've got my eye on a Midwest Best.

Stoner subs best place to take your friend for a 70s hippy sub. They all have creative names and can be served with rice crispys, brownies they also have kool aid usually 2 flavors really enjoy this place it can get busy but the staff keeps up great

Had a coworker recommend this place so I tried it on my lunch break. When you first walk in it’s a bit of a sensory overload between the music, pathway available due to tables set up & the signs about mobile pick up or DoorDash pick up kinda threw me off so I wasn’t sure which counter to order from. Thankfully the employees are SUPER nice, the guy at 1 counter had a very calm voice so my initial anxiety went away & I didn’t have to think of what to order since I let him pick 😂. It took about 6minutes wait time even though they were packed. The g-13 sub was so delicious & the fruity rice crispy, I’m for sure gonna be a repeat customer.

Only even been here once in Colorado Springs I believe. Hands down my favorite sub shop. It’s now 11/03/2023 and tomorrow will be going phoenix mostly just for a Chenab Hut sandwich.
Returned to Cheba Hut and of course it was so delicious. I had a “build your own” sandwich. Hope y’all enjoy your sandwich.

Food was excellent. Orders were prepared correctly as requested. Sandwiches were brought to our table in a timely manner. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars due to the cleanliness. Perhaps it’s due to how busy they were?

Haven't worked or frequent the area in years but found myself down that way at lunch time and this was the first place to come to mind. Was pleasantly shocked by the addition of the bar. The food is still amazing and I wish there was a location closer to surprise.

STREET CRED!!! After calling the store today and a nice gentleman answered my long awaited question, I now know YOU CAN TURN ANY SUB INTO A SALAD! And let me tell you it is AMAZING! The salad was so generously put together with mixed greens and toppings galore!! I am so appreciative you offer the option! I will always vouch for this place!

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so relaxed. My boyfriend and I were deciding where to eat and hit up this old spot and they have definitely remodeled because it looks so welcoming. My sub was delicious I finished every bite, worth every penny. Definitely coming back again.
