Wonderful addition to Gettysburg restaurants. This is a new restaurant, not Mays. Rather, Mai’s.
The food was hot and tasty. Service excellent and welcoming sign to see a familiar face in the owner. We will be back.

I’d like to say this place is Gettysburg’s best kept secret, but the secret is out! Great food for a great price! Get in here before the line is around the block!

This is the bacon they served us (photo attached)... And made excuses that it was acceptable. Not a single employee smiled, and instead ate their breakfast instead of serving customers. The eggs were overcooked and potatoes weren't fresh either. Apparently this place was shut down for a while and is under new management.. doesn't seem like they made any good changes.

Great food, family owned & friendly fast service, excellent portion size, priced on average or better with other eatery's in the tourist strip of town...

Good Americana cooking. Fair prices and great food. While walking around town, two different locals recommended this locale for food. We had lunch there and the food was outstanding. Wife had the stuffed mushrooms, out came six large mushrooms filled with crab. No filler. I had the brisket sandwich, which was decent. The other highlight was the fries. Excellent skin on fries. Check it out when you need a quick bite or a full meal. Homemade desserts are available.

We stopped here unexpectedly due to every other restaurant being packed. What a delicious surprise! The food is all home cooked. We had Brittany's choice. Again a gamble as it is seafood at a diner. It was fantastic! Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Fantastic dessert too. Enjoy!

This was our first time eating at Mays Avenue Restaurant. We came for breakfast at the recommendation of a local business owner. I had the Feast (2 eggs, bacon, home fries, French toast and toast). The food was good and the portion generous. The home fries were sliced potato and could've used a little S&P when cooking. I had my eggs scrambled with cheese. I would've liked the cheese to be mixing into the scramble instead of on top. The French toast was tasty. It came with four good slices of bacon which is better than most places. It's a rather small diner. I believe there are 20 tables of varying sizes and a diner style counter. It was crowded when we arrived about 9 a.m. Fact we got last open table. I think they may have been a little overwhelmed with the number of customers but they seemed to handle it okay. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. There is a driveway to the left side of the timer that leads to a small parking lot in the back. Only 12 spaces so you may have to park elsewhere. Overall it was pretty good as far as diners go.
