Mcalister's Deli

This is an excellent take out experience. First, I'm really impressed with how many items are available in half sized "choose 2" portions. We were able to get a variety of items with this awesome option. The baked potato is their veggie one. I had them leave the peppers off. So for those who like bell peppers, image multi-colored ones on it. It was delicious. The cheese sauce is so creamy. The Savannah salad was perfect. I loved the sherry dressing. My friend also got the club with cranberry/orange. She literally couldn't stop eating it was so yummy. Second, we ordered curbside pickup. On the drive home, the whole bagged tipped over in my new car! What could have been an @$&!!#@ experience was instead an oh-aren't-they clever!-Whoot! experience. The broccoli cheese soup (sooooo good!) was saran wrapped it supper tight. Not a drop leaked! This simple extra step shows how much they care for their customers.

My son & I eat there at least twice a week so I'm VERY familiar what my food should or shouldn't look like or be like. My experience yesterday was the worst, I order a Spud Max add chicken & the potatoe was so itty bitty & sloppy I didn't want it. I think they have new staff cooking now because I NEVER had a problem before!

Food good, service not so much. 10 minutes late for a online, no biggie. Even giving the less desirable brookie over a my choice the brownie. No biggie. But what isn't a no biggie mistake. Having other people's sandwiches on mine Being the only one in line but everyone to busy half working and messing about. Too busy playing the classic "who going to assist her first" game Cross contamination was the worst part about this visit. More so because this could easily been avoided. That grill chicken looks old AF. So how long has it not been clean? 😔 my go to McAllister...gone downhill Then you know it can be done because my 2nd half is presentable

we had lunch, I like mcalisters but they have recently hired a young man that doesn't really seem to like his job. He brought our food to our table sat the plates down and I noticed I didn't get a knife & fork and asked him when he had a chance could I please have a knife and fork. he gave a big sigh and stomped off came back a few minutes later with the knife and fork and slamed them on my plate, tuned, he did not wear gloves nor were they wrapped in a napkin. He was holding them backwards where the handles were not in his hand. Then he turned and walked away. I then went to the front and asked for a fork and knife. the young lady put then in a napkin with gloved hands and handed them to me. I mentioned to her that she might want to show the young man the proper way to handle a customers knife and fork when bringing them to the customers table. other than that I love this place.

Great food and the employees are friendly. Jay the manager on duty was very helpful with everything. 6 stars for Jay!!! The young fella who checked us out was extremely helpful and friendly despite having to use a cane to get around. Let this be a lesson to every one don't let anything stop you from doing what is nessecary to take care of your self.
