My husband and I enjoyed this farm to table restaurant immensely. It was conveniently located next to our hotel. The service was impeccable with our server, Justin, willing to answer our questions on the menu and giving us a handwritten list of local recommendations. The atmosphere was lovely with an open kitchen and a cozy, modern farmhouse vibe. There was a great selection of local brews, wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic craft beverages. We ordered some delicious local ciders, a cheese platter, calamari, and the duck entrée. All of the food, down to their homemade bread, was truly excellent and memorable. The duck was prepared perfectly and the mushrooms and gnocchi vied for the spotlight. We would recommend this place highly and hope to return next time we're in the Finger Lakes.

Lovely ambiance for a romantic dinner. You can see into the kitchen if you're one to watch the chefs work, and the bar is prominent and decoratively arranged for the aesthetic. The menu has excellent variety for carnivores, vegans, and anyone in between. Portions are very large for a scratch kitchen with the high level of execution the staff here delivers. They also have a very extensive drink list with plenty of NA options as well. Would happily return the next time I'm in the area.

Kindred Fare was a solid dining experience and one of the better spots we dined at during our time in the Finger Lakes. We tried their Monday tasting menu, which offered a neat variety of local options beyond the normal menu. While I didn't love each dish on the tasting menu, overall the options were tasty and very fresh. The desserts and appetizers were particularly great. We sat at the bar and service was congenial and attentive. Would come back!

Wouldn’t be lying if we said that we’ve had the best meal at Kindred Fare in the Finger Lakes area. We were visiting and ate out every meal of the 4 days, so it says a lot about how tasty the foods were. Friendly staff, our waitress Mary rocked. The halibut and pork chop were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The veggies and side on the main dishes are locally sourced and yummy. It’s impressive to say that looking back at the pictures and posting this review involving such a delicious memory of the meal. Highly recommended and will come back again.

Delicious food, great service, and local ingredients! Best meal we had in the FLX area so far! Definitely recommend the eggplant pasta for vegetarians, it was wonderful. The coconut chocolate tart was incredible!! Thanks again

I am updating my rating to 5 stars as I gave Kindred Fare a second try. The Honey Hot Cauliflower Wings are still fantastic, and the steak was excellent. The restaurant does a great job of mixing flavors to provide a unique experience. Kindred Fare- I am giving this place 3 Stars as I had a mixed experince. Even though it was crowded, it has great ambiance and a warm open feel. The Honey Hot Cauliflower Wings are OUT OF THIS WORLD!! I did not expect them to be so incredible and would come back just for them. I ordered the Grilled Port Chop from the daily special menu. It was supposed to come medium, but there was no pink at all, completely white and dry. The corn topping was cold, as if it came right from a can. The kale was very good. Overall, I was disappointed with my entree, however I have had positive experiences here before and plan to come back to try something different.

The place really had a good vibe!! Didn’t had the opportunity to dine here as only went in for drinks. Really liked the setup and decor of the bar. Bartender was super friendly and made a nice old fashioned. Noticed the food price were a little pricey but I’m sure it must taste good. Hope to try it next time I’m up there.

Me and my girlfriend we were on a road trip through the Finger Lakes and spent two nights in Geneva. We always do our research and Kindred Fare was always popping up at different sites and it was recommended by our Airbnb hosts too. It was a Monday night and the place was buzzing and it was worth the hype. Really beautifully place a cozy industrial vibe(!), service was great (shoutout to Jude) and the food was super tasty and an ode to local and fresh ingredients. One of the best restaurant meals I ever had. Poutine was just superb, girlfriend had Mac n’ cheese and I had the eggplant caponata pasta, both were well made and delicious. After working many years in the restaurant industry I was fed up with owners cutting corners in quality and ingredients. Kindred Fare doesn’t do that, so if you are in Geneva, NY make sure to stop by, you won’t be disappointed!

Liked the new twist on the Moscow Mule drink, Rainwater Cup. The Buffalo Cauliflower app, Poutine fries, Curry tofu and Pork Belly dishes were excellent. Loved the trendy atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

We drove down from Rochester for an early Valentine’s Day dinner and enjoyed a delicious meal here. Every dish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The fried cod special and the calamari were very fresh and possibly the best we’ve had. The drink menu is well-rounded with something for everyone (love that they have NA options) and the desserts were amazing! Attentive and professional service. Well worth the 50 minute drive. We will be back!
