Ventosa Vineyards

If I could give Ventosa Vineyard and it's ENTIRE staff 10 stars I would! We had our daughter's wedding there last Sunday and they truly helped to make it a day to be remembered. Many of our guest shared with us that this was a "first class" wedding, the food was amazing (thank you Chef Brian and your staff), and the atmosphere and attentiveness of the staff was professional yet with a warm, personal touch. Thank you RJ, Deb, Donna and everyone there for making the day so special!

What a beautiful day after the rain had passed through Geneva! My husband's and my experience there was wonderful. The place is absolutely picturesque. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, especially Sandra at the wine bar and a server whose name sadly escapes me. We had a pizza and a panino, and they were great quality. The charcuterie board might be a little overpriced versus what you get, not to mention how it was brought out only seconds before our main meal. Overall, we still loved it. We tried a flight of wines each and got 3 bottles to take home, including the Saggio XII. From the food to the views to the lovely crowd to bring it all to life, Ventosa was definitely worth the 2 hour drive to get there. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We had our wedding at Ventosa in July and had a truly amazing and unbelievable experience! We chose Ventosa early in our planning process for the great wine and stunning lake view and every aspect completely exceeded expectations. RJ and Deb were easy to communicate with throughout the process and very accommodating for any of our needs. They answered all of our questions expertly and truly made the planning process much less overwhelming. One of the hardest parts was our food tasting, because everything was so delicious, and all of the food came out amazing on our wedding day as well. They also did a great job working with our vendors, particularly our florist, in helping to make sure everything got set up and looked amazing. We also wanted a sunset picture with the tree and lake backdrop and Deb helped us make that happen by getting us a golf cart to go from the dining room to the photo spot and back as quickly as possible. What a beautiful and tranquil winery with a Lovely staff and view. We ordered the cheese and cracker board. Didn’t really care for the salty cheese but everything else made up for it. Grapes adorn this beautiful tray. Everyone from the person doing Wine Tasting to where we ordered our food, were helpful and went above and beyond for us. Gentleman even brought us each a refreshing glass of ice water without asking for it💕 Thank you!

A beautiful property with a stunning backdrop of the lake and rolling vineyards. Delicious full bodied reds and refreshing Crisp whites. Loved their 2017 Sangiovese and their 2019 Lemberger. Great value for money at $10 for 5 wine tasting. The tasting could have been made more intimate and refined with seating options and a more knowledgeable sommelier/ host.

We had the most wonderful wedding day at Ventosa. The ceremony was so beautiful overlooking the lake and vineyards. The food was so delicious and our guests loved every minute. This winery has a gorgeous outdoor view of the vineyard in the back. If this is your first time wine saying you’re in luck! This is an unpretentious environment with a tasting of 5 wines of your choice for $10. Finding the wine you like most is great when it comes to the food. We had two pizzas to go with a glass of our choice. We had the pesto pizza and meat lovers. This is a great spot for family and friends! Service was wonderful and the wait was not long!

Without a doubt, the facility is gorgeous and the elevated terrace with vineyard and lake views are lovely. Wish we had had lunch here! We hear the pizza is amazing. We did a tasting with the Chardonnay, dry Reisling, Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet. None of them stood out so we had a glass of the semi-sweet Reisling, sat on the terrace and enjoyed the views.
