This place is a gem! Ended up here trying to get out of the rain at the beach, and after another pizza place we tried was 21+ and we had the kids in tow. Miller’s had very friendly staff, great pizza, and pristine restrooms. Anyone passing through here or visiting Indiana Dunes should give this place a shot.
I love their lunch special for $7. I lead hikes for free at the Indiana Dunes National Park and I find my self near their location. From 11AM - 2pM one gets two pieces of pizza and. A 22 oz pop. There are always two - there kinds of pizza to choose from.
Long Time Miller Pizza Customer, although the prices are astronomically more expensive, the pizza is generally still of quality. I treat myself to a thin crust pepperoni and mushroom pizza every so often. While I love the traditional deep crust, the thin crust also has won over my heart! Make sure you check them out!
I visited often pre-pandemic and the whole place had a vibe that made you just want to hang out after work, school, the beach, etc. Great food, good atmosphere and back when the patio was open, you could just sit and enjoy the breeze...and the loud annoying train horn, but hey, you can't always get what you want. About a month ago, I went back again for the first time in three years. I ordered to go, but it was STILL the same; great food, good atmosphere, and nice workers. I LOVE THIS PLACE...lol!!!
Overall we were very impressed with this pizza place. We are not from the area and were between supporting a small local establishment or ordering from a chain. I’m glad we opted for Miller! We ordered over the phone for delivery and the person who took our order was very pleasant and friendly. Our delivery driver (or the restaurant) gave us a courtesy call when they were 15 minutes away, which was very nice.
We ordered a deep dish pizza with sausage and pepperoni and a side of breadsticks. The food was delicious! The pizza had the right amount of everything (cheese, sauce, toppings). The breadsticks were seasoned nicely.

The food was really great and hit the spot. We are here for work and wanted to get lunch locally. We didn’t want to get anything that felt too fried since we were working for many more hours after. I ordered a lunch special (multiple slices of pizza and a drink) I saw if and thought I’d maybe feel bloated cuz of the size. But felt just fine since the dough was super high quality and the pizza was not at all greasy. The staff was really nice and professional, the store and restrooms were clean and there was parking in the back. Food was prompt and served hot. Prices were normal. It was a great choice for us passing through!
