N.y. Plate

We absolutely loved finding this place. It's not shiny or flashy, it was kind of hidden but the taste of the food, the size of the portions, and the price per meal made it an amazing experience. If you go you have to make sure to try the Cheetos Menu and those Mozzarella sticks with the cheese dip makes my mouth water just thinking about it. The portions were huge and well worth the money spent on it. If we drive thru there again, we will definitely be stopping.

I love this place it was a good place to pick preseason food my whole family loved it I love to get their bowls so far I've had the New York Plate the Brooklyn plate the Flamin Hot cheese sticks or daughter had the fries and my other family members had things as well so so far everything that I have tasted has been good. I recommend this place to a lot of people if you want to try something different in this is one of the latest to try something different and get full and still have food left over.

They deserve no stars this restaurant is horrible. They’re not even putting steak in their meals that are supposed to have steak they’re advertised steak but instead it’s substituted with Gyro meat. I ate some of the food started feeling sick because the hummus was no good and was throwing up most of the night

First off, I was already HIGHLY skeptical of this place. I just moved up here from FL and haven’t seen a single good restaurant to eat at. I was really excited to find this place close to my house. I read reviews beforehand of course which made me hesitant to order from here, but I bit the bullet and did....and I regret it. I ordered the hummus, something I make at my house from scratch ALL the time. It looked good and I was about to dive in when I noticed this thick, black hair follicle in there. I automatically lost my appetite and threw it out. I also ordered the Gyro plate with extra “special sauce” on the side. I was HUGELY disappointed when I discovered this “special sauce”, which is typically tzatziki sauce Greek places use (also another thing I know how to make at home from scratch) was simply....RANCH DRESSING?!?! Someone stated this in a previous review but I didn’t want to believe them (I take it back!). It was soaked allll over the pita, which was the only good tasting thing. The meat was alright but you could taste the grease...not enough lettuce and the rice? Well, the rice creeped me out and didn’t taste that good either because it’s Orange...never seen Mediterranean rice look like that. All in all, I should have listened to the reviews and stayed away from this place. I DEFINITELY, will not be eating here again due to everything being wrong, wrong, WRONG! I will stick with the Greek place in the Southlake Mall in Merrillville for my Greek fix.
