I absolutely love, love this place!!! I chose this restaurant for my husband's 50th birthday celebration. The staff were absolutely amazing. The were very accommodating to my large group. Pat the proprietor was awesome and was great to work with and my dinner organized. Speaking of dinner, by far one of the best ribeyes and chicken dishes I've had in a long time. If you love bleu cheese salad dressing theirs is delish. Now on to dessert. The cobbler is to die for and is the perfect way to top of your meal. I highly recommend this establishment!

Went on a whim while out for a drive and it was great. Food was good and the atmosphere was nice. Kid friendly even though it’s a pub. A bit pricey but worth it.

Business lunch. No issues getting a table. Friendly server. Ordered fried catfish extra crispy with soup of the day (clam chowder) and side salad. Side salad was average. Iceberg lettuce and piece of onion with some croutons. A few tomatoes would've jazzed it up. Soup was good. Catfish was thin but enjoyable. Will likely be back to try other entrees. Restaurant did fill up by the time we finished up.

I visited this past Tuesday totally enjoyed my experience so I thought I would drop my review. I was surprised to not see all 5 stars. It was highly recommend by many ( have you tried the pub yet) so I took the time to read the non-5 star reviews. All said the service was outstanding and it was true the service was fantastic! The food was good and that also true. I ate every bite, I was so full when I left! The place was clean the cut of meats were high quality. Not even the bad reviews had anything negative about the actual restaurant , staff, atmosphere, nothing that warrants a bad review. They zoned in on cost with the comparison of chain restaurants. I expected to pay a little more for the historical area. What I didn’t expect was the friendly accommodations that were given, like they really did appreciate my business. Wow I felt like this would be my place to go if I didn’t live in North Carolina! I was visiting my brother & sister Inlaw who I know will now be frequent customers. I like these people, I like the history of the decorations, I like the food, I liked the temperature they kept the room, I liked everything about this place! Then they came up to the table and said pick a number on Tuesday’s you can roll the dice if the number you pick comes up the whole table will be free! There were 5 of us so that was a risk for them. We picked 9 but rolled 4 so no we didn’t win but it sure was fun thinking we might!! So back to the cost. You get what you pay for. I’m sure those customers would not enjoy a 3 star rating on the job they do. IF they do the best at their trade in town! Nor would they want a pay cut to get people to like them. I guess they do not understand. Highly recommend!

We went for Valentines Day. Wonderful Salmon and Southwestern chicken. The strawberry and peach cobblers topped off the meal.

I recently moved into the area, and while venturing out and about checking out the scenery I stumbled upon this absolutely amazing place, words cannot express how much the management and staff have made me feel welcome and much more than just a "customer". This fantastic eatery is a must, incredible food, great service, awesome music, prices that can't be beat, and the atmosphere is off the charts wonderful..stop in and treat yourself and enjoy Sara, Tim, Erica, Courtney and the other awesome staff!! #mainstreetpubfanforeverrrrr!!

What a great find while traveling through! The bartender was so friendly and funny! She just made us feel like old friends! One of the regular customers stopped in and made us feel like a local, even bought us a round of drinks!! You don't find people like that anywhere...it was great! The food was freshly made with ❤️ and the Chicken Poblano soup was the best I have ever had...need the receipe! We learned a lot about the area rodeo with all the fascinating photos on the walls. We will be back next time we travel South!
