Park legally!. Then enjoy a pleasant dinner here. Game days it's a zoo...otherwise great. Hosts often don't consider YOU when seating....so be proactive form the best experience.

Probably the oldest and best bar in Gainesville. Never been served a weak drink there. The bartenders are friendly and proficient. Always an interesting mix of people there. It's nice to be able to sit on the patio if you want to as smoking is allowed inside. Also occasionally people bring their dogs when it's not peak hours. All in all a great bar that has stood the test of time! I recommend it highly!!

I've been coming here since I was 15 (they never served me underage) and now I'm 29. It's changed a lot, as there used to be a stage on which I would play guitar, as they had jam nights. Now that stage is a "vip" section, but anyone can sit there. It's a great bar. The alcohol is cheap and the friends are free.

I have not been there since 1978 when Johnson Hayes FH existed but has always been a high class place. Most beautiful women in Florida gathered there.

Great, stiff, cheap drinks. Seriously you can't beat the price. It's never crowded either. Don't come expecting a fancy bar, that's not what you come here for. There is smoking inside so don't come if that would bother you.
