Liquid Ginger

Came here for my graduation dinner with a party of 8 and we had a great time. I made the reservation through google and it worked out; also, the restaurant called me like an hour before my reservation to confirm. the waiter was really friendly and the food was great. we all had a blast. definitely recommend.

Just left Liquid Ginger after ordering a single Gator Roll to go. I was told it would take 10-15 minutes which is standard and reasonable. I ended up waiting 35 minutes for my one roll after checking in with the hostesses twice. They were very nice, but only realized that the roll had, in fact, been done the third time I asked and a male waiter got involved. When I asked for some sort of compensation for waiting an extra 20 minutes, I was told they couldn’t do anything but give me some ice cream, which I had no interest in. I’ve had great experiences here before, but this was extremely infuriating.

In the past, I had always liked liquid ginger. However, my experience last night was a disaster. The host told us the wait would be 5-10 minutes, and they did not take down our name or number. Then, as other people walked in, they proceeded to let them in before us even though we were there first. They randomly pick the next people to be seated instead of going in order like any restaurant should. Other people had noticed as well. I had to tell the host twice that we were there first and he kept forgetting. Then once we were seated, we had three different waiters and there were errors in our order. The food also took over an hour and a half to come out. I saw people at other tables questioning why their food was taking so long. At the end of the meal, I had to find the host to give him my card because they took so long to take the check. We were there for about three hours, which is ridiculous. Would not recommend at all.

If you are going here to eat go between 11 and 2 if you’re a delivery driver just write this restaurant off after 5 pm.7:45 pm I get an order for this place I go there happy as a clam because this place is usually on top of their game.Hers the thing I pull up to the restaurant when I get in there there are already two drivers there who seemed like they were waiting awhile.They finally leave which means they canceled the order or unassigned which means the paying customer has to wait even longer.I tell the guy the name on the order.He disappears,comes back 4 minutes later and asks me the name on the order disappears again comes back 5 minutes later what’s the name on the order.I plainly show him he disappears comes back and asks me are you picking up for who.Ok by this time I’ve lost it.There are now 5 drivers in the “waiting area “ whom all of which left .My point is that this restaurant puts delivery customers who are paying customers,all the way down to the bottom so that the inside customers get to order and see their food.Fact is a lot of restaurants do this but this is the worst I have seen.YOU ARE AWARE LIQUID GINGER that people are paying for delivery orders. Right? Just because you don’t see the transaction doesn’t mean it didn’t happen .Just for future reference maybe hire people without the personality of a wet dishcloth and I would drug test.Anyway delivery customers avoid this store

All I can say is wow! My girlfriend n I were gonna eat at some Mexican restaurant that was close by, but realized it was packed with college millennials. So we walked on passed without a second thought n came across liquid ginger at 9:30 pm. I opened the door for her, the fella asked us how our night was n how many was in our group, I told him we were starving n it's just the two of us. He sat is at a small table beside the window, I noticed we were the only customers also. The waitress brought us two waters with a lemon, handed us two menus n said take your time. We looked at just about everything on their giant menu, decided what we wanted based on the ingredients. She got the lime curry coconut chicken, n I got the mahi mahi sesame something. The waitress took our order and suggested we get some sushi as well. Of course we did, we got the spicy lobster roll or something like that. Came back maybe 10 minutes later with a slightly warm two piece sushi roll with fresh ginger n wasabi on the side. My girlfriend had to tell me what they were n what time it was. It was 10 which is their closing time. Before we even finished our sushi rolls, the waitress brought us our wonderful looking plates of food. There was a healthy portion of each, so we shared off of each other's plates like we always do! My first words about the food was, "baby....this is an orgasm in my mouth!" She giggled n agreed! Hats off to cook and the wonderful service well after closing time! 👌
