Best All I can say is I loved the Club Poboy, I loved the chicken cheese steak , best fries , dang best all around cheese steak, bread was soft and the service was awesome , , you should know about this place , bang for your buck, sauces on point , thanks
This place is awesome! Great service and food plus a fun atmosphere. I enjoyed the Chicago and Ella had the cheese dog. We really enjoyed the music which in my opinion is the best playlist in Gainesville! Keith Miller and his crew are running a great family friendly restaurant!
My wife and I came here after the big book sale. She has always been very fickle when it came to cheesesteaks, because honestly there are some REALLY bad ones out there. This was not the case. My wife got the original and I had the Chicago and we were both very impressed. We didn't have to slather it in condiments at all because of how good it was right from the kitchen. Staff was very pleasant and it was very clean and maintained. We will definitely return when we come up that way! Still great. Wife's favorite!
UPDATE: I see response from owner. Thank you for clarifying, but the menu could be a bit more clear. The posted menu (see pic) includes mayo on the list of toppings. Right under onions, peppers, etc.. Next to the list, it says "Pick 3".
ORIGINAL REVIEW
The restaurant was clean and the service excellent. I ordered at the counter and the food was delivered to my table. I was also asked a few times if I needed anything, which was very kind. I had a bit of a sticker shock when I was told it was $16 for my cheesesteak plus fries and a drink. I got the regular "build your own" cheesesteak. It comes with 3 sides, but I got 6, including mayo and another sauce (each count as a side). Mayo is a side? Any additional side (above the 3) is $0.30 each. Plus $3.95 if you want add fries and a drink. My meal totaled $16 plus tip. I didn't notice the second menu on the adjacent wall.
My cousin and I went yesterday to Big Mills for lunch. She is from out of town and we had a great experience! Amazing customer service, delicious food and everything was done in a timely manner. The staff was so attentive and caring. The owner came out to say hello and greet us which he did with every customer that was there…how often do you see that elsewhere? Never! We even took her Pomeranian with us and enjoyed their outdoor seating. I would give them 10 stars if I could ❤️
You might drive by this place every single day in Gainesville and always wonder if it's good, let me tell you that this place is amazing. The set up is cool and if you're a baseball fan you'll love the decor even more. The staff was super friendly and they gave me great suggestions as to what I should order. Everything was delicious and overall if you're hankering for a great cheesesteak, then this is the place for you.

Oh my goodness I cannot tell you the last time that I had a good take out from Gainesville was...
Not only was the online ordering process simple and and super easy they offer curbside service.
I am not even done eating my food and I had to stop and write this review. They estimated my order would be ready in 15 minutes, I called when I got there so that way I could add a side of meat from my puppy who just got shots today lol so it's her special treat. I have to tell you the lady that answered the phone was super
polite added it no problem I went in I paid for it as I was walking in 8 minutes before it was supposed to be ready it was ready... In addition the strawberry lemonade frozen is amazing I love my new metal straw thank you big Mills
please support this local gem of a business cause they are amazing you would never know that covid had happened based on their attitude service and quality products...
By the way they actually read the comment section of the menu where I asked for extra crispy onion rings they were super extra crispy thin goodness, the the extra sauce that I wanted was already in the bag day they nailed everything not 1 not 1 negative 2 say.
They were 100% on everything!!!!

This food is a place where ya get your moneys worth. The food and the feeling is so authentic. HEFTY. Need a break from work? This is the place. The costumer service I received there every time, from Hayley and the rest is always outstanding. Friendly, Sincere and legitimate conversation. just a great place.
We pass by Big Mill's when we are going to doctor appointments in Gainesville. Today we decided to stop and check it out. BEST DECISION EVER! Super good cheese steaks, HOT fries, and lots of menu choices! The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, & quick! Most impressive though, was the owner walking through at least 4-5 times while we were there, talking to customers and making sure everything was good. I have never seen this amount of customer care before! We will definitely be back, as well as recommend this awesome place to others!
