We celebrated our 5th wedding Anniversary at Wild Ginger. We enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio listening to the live band while enjoying our wine and dinner. We started with the Tequila Sunrise maki roll for an appetizer and had the pepper steak and mango chicken as our entrees. I highly recommend, very delicious. Service was top notch and everyone was very attentive. We ordered the Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake to go...yummy!! We will definitely be back. Thank you for helping make our Anniversary special.
I am not a sushi person, but I fell in love with sushi. The ahi tuna and the lobster rolls were out of this world. You have to get the yum yum rolls served with Asian slaw. Oh so good. Best restaurant I have eaten at in the last 10 years. We tried several dishes to sample the menu. If you haven't been there, you are missing a great treat. I live in La and my grand daughter chose this for her graduation dinner. We were all very happy when we left and I will make sure to eat there every future trip to Tn. By the way, I recommend have a blood orange Cosmo while there.
This was amazing! The starters all seemed delicious. I just want to get them all next time. The food quality was all top notch. Each time the runner brought food out he said "ta-da" and it made the night. 🤣
There were a good amount of seasoning options in this place. The taste of the Mongolian beef was incredible, along with calamari as an appetizer. Even though the food was really good, I didn't feel that safe going inside due to the pandemic, so I had to recommend a different table to sit at.
We went in Wild Ginger for a quick lunch and we were not disappointed. Take a look at this burger, no bread for me, take a look at the food presentation, as you see it is amazing and the taste was also amazing. The entire staff was super friendly from the front door to the table. Thanks @Wild Ginger for a great lunch experience.
One of our favorite places to eat. The Fantasy - sushi with tuna, salmon, yellowtail, avocado is so good. Wild Ginger does a good job in their dishes. Service is great!
Went for a late lunch on a Saturday. The service was perfect and they recommended several rolls that we ended up getting - Pink Lady is one pictured. Would definitely return!
If you are looking for Asian foods prepared in creative ways with a flair, you can’t go wrong with Wild Ginger. They have an extensive sushi menu but went with a Sashimi plate…perfect for sampling and sharing. The sushi was very fresh, flavorful, and the light sauces on the sushi really enhanced the flavors to a new level for sushi. For appetizers tried the Dynamite Shrimp and the Pork Belly Bao Bun. The pork belly was slightly overcooked but the flavors were incredible and the shrimp were delicious with the right heat and great flavors. The Miso Sea Bass, first time I have ever seen sea bass butterflied for cooking. The miso sake sauce and balsamic made this an incredible dish…and the tempura veggies were delicious. Must say this was one of the best sea bass I have had in a very long time. The beef dish was Kobe Beef you cooked over a hot stone…great flavors when married with the different sauces. This place serves up great food, has incredible service, and a wonderful atmosphere.
Our go to place for sushi. We had the dragonfly as a starter. Tonight's special was a platter of tempura fried lobster tail bites in a mango chutney. 6 oz. Salmon en papiott. 6 oz. Sirloin, mashed purple yam. I've forgotten the sauces paired with the salmon and steak. The Sirloin is dense so the less it's cooked the more tender it is. We ordered medium rare. It was closer to medium and in one side well done. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse cake.
The dragonfly Maki is our favorite. Tonight I had the ahi sandwich. It needs work. Meat to bun ratio is skewed to more bun. There's no aoli on the bun, making it a bit dry. The ahi needs to be thicker. If the ingredients aren't arranged properly, getting too much avacado with little aioli then the sandwich is bland. The sweet potato fries are the best I've eaten at a restaurant.
Im not a fan of the handheld computers. I don't get a fast food feel yet.
Still, I wouldn't go anywhere else for sushi. The drink is amethyst 75. It looks like it would be sweet. Not so.
