One of my son's Christmas presents this year was trips to various donut shops around town to compare and see which one he likes best. A couple of notes for those who might be visiting: 1) the lobby is closed, at least temporarily, so you have to use the drive through to order and 2) there is a minimum of $4 to pay with a credit card-- not a huge deal, but customers might want to know in advance. As far as the donuts are concerned, Coliseum Donuts might have the best "classic" donuts in Fort Wayne. My son and I both loved the varieties we tried, and we absolutely will be back.

Website and signs say open 6am-6pm, drive thru only. I arrived at 6am and waited until 6:05am and the building was dark, no one showed up to work. Ended up driving over to The Donut Bar at Georgetown and they were open and happy to help me.

The donuts here are always good, and the drive through is great.

This donut shop has one the most patient and caring customer service. Each donut was $1.50 and they are a large sized ones. Their yeast and boston cream donuts tasted great! I also ordered cinnamon roll (bottom right) and double chocolate, which were nothing too special but I still enjoyed destroying those! Highly recommend that place if you are passing by.
