Casa D'angelo Ristorante

I absolutely love this restaurant. I’m not from the area so I used to only go once a year but I haven’t been back in five years. It’s still as good as ever. Our server, Karl was awesome. So sweet and very helpful. Our sommelier, Francisco was phenomenal. He helped us choose a delicious and perfect wine that met the pallet of both of us. He was so polite and knowledgeable. I absolutely recommend getting a reservation because the restaurant is always super busy. Make sure you listen to all the specials because they are so delicious. The meatballs and sausage appetizer is something that they’re known for. The grilled swordfish that I had on special was fantastic. You won’t be disappointed with anything you get here !

This place is incredible! The service, food, and ambience are all outstanding. The top of Fort Lauderdale for sure. Natasha our server was the absolute best. Their special menu equals their standing menu.

You have restaurants that open up wanting to be a fine dining establishment and they go ham on glitz and glamor over substance and then you have a restaurant that is steeped in culture with superbly crafted authentic dishes with a serious no nonsense wine list that's bigger and even more curated than the Britannica Encyclopedia set and a sommelier who actually knows his stuff- that becomes so refined over the years that it actually becomes the embodiment of fine dining . Casa D'Angelo is one of those places where the fine dining experience is truly superb - you do not take riff raffs to this place. This is a place where you take your wife or your fiancé. Your closest friends or family. Or a valued business associate. You do not waste a night out here unless it's meaningful. Here's where you go with people who really know and appreciate food. Where you can sit down for couple or more hours and enjoy a bottle or two of wine along with some fantastic food and conversation. To keep it short - the food (as shown in the pictures was truly awesome). The bison (credit goes to Natasa, our awesome server who sold us on this) in particular (one of the specials of the night, off the menu) was out of this world and every dish we ordered was a home run. The best part of this whole experience was the service. It was expert level not only by our wonderful waitress but we also observed this amongst others in the waitstaff. Not entirely "elegant and plastic" but they definitely were full of character. Louder that you'd expect but in a great way, full of warmth and character - perhaps a nod to Italy :)

Giovanni was our server and he was amazing! Food was absolutely delicious, beautiful ambiance and outstanding service. Special thanks to the host for helping me make a reservation for 10 on the same day. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. What a beautiful dinner to share with my family at a lovely Italian restaurant. The service was impeccable, starting with being greeted Martino and served by Hector and his attentive staff. The welcoming platter of fresh foccacia, bruchetta, cheese and olives was a wonderful way to start our meal. I would recommend Casa D'Angelo to celebrate a special occasion or if you just want a delicious Italian meal!
