Review Casa D'angelo Ristorante - Fort Lauderdale

My first time dined here last night, it was amazing. Before I dined here, some of my friends recommended this place to me. Great portion and phenomenal food. Everything is fresh and light, but so filling. Also, the service is probably one of the best services I have ever experienced. Would definitely come back again!

I absolutely love this restaurant. I’m not from the area so I used to only go once a year but I haven’t been back in five years. It’s still as good as ever. Our server, Karl was awesome. So sweet and very helpful. Our sommelier, Francisco was phenomenal. He helped us choose a delicious and perfect wine that met the pallet of both of us. He was so polite and knowledgeable. I absolutely recommend getting a reservation because the restaurant is always super busy. Make sure you listen to all the specials because they are so delicious. The meatballs and sausage appetizer is something that they’re known for. The grilled swordfish that I had on special was fantastic. You won’t be disappointed with anything you get here !

Raul and Giovanni were so amazing!! The food was great the service was awesome. He informed us of the specials for the night and answered every question we had. Highly recommend and I’d ask for Raul and Giovanni.

This place is incredible! The service, food, and ambience are all outstanding. The top of Fort Lauderdale for sure. Natasha our server was the absolute best. Their special menu equals their standing menu.

We were recommended to come here by someone we met today at a another restaurant. I'm going to have to say it is absolutely the best Italian restaurant I ever eaten at. Our food was over top flavorful, tender, cook perfect, it's so much more. This is a strong must go to if you're in the area or looking for really good Italian

You have restaurants that open up wanting to be a fine dining establishment and they go ham on glitz and glamor over substance and then you have a restaurant that is steeped in culture with superbly crafted authentic dishes with a serious no nonsense wine list that's bigger and even more curated than the Britannica Encyclopedia set and a sommelier who actually knows his stuff- that becomes so refined over the years that it actually becomes the embodiment of fine dining . Casa D'Angelo is one of those places where the fine dining experience is truly superb - you do not take riff raffs to this place. This is a place where you take your wife or your fiancé. Your closest friends or family. Or a valued business associate. You do not waste a night out here unless it's meaningful. Here's where you go with people who really know and appreciate food. Where you can sit down for couple or more hours and enjoy a bottle or two of wine along with some fantastic food and conversation. To keep it short - the food (as shown in the pictures was truly awesome). The bison (credit goes to Natasa, our awesome server who sold us on this) in particular (one of the specials of the night, off the menu) was out of this world and every dish we ordered was a home run. The best part of this whole experience was the service. It was expert level not only by our wonderful waitress but we also observed this amongst others in the waitstaff. Not entirely "elegant and plastic" but they definitely were full of character. Louder that you'd expect but in a great way, full of warmth and character - perhaps a nod to Italy :)

Aba was absolutely phenomenal as our server tonight. Of course she was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu/specials but she went above and beyond to make us feel special. After enjoying Aba and Fransisco’s (one of the two sommeliers) amazing hospitality, we forgot our to-go container. Aba went out of her way and met us in the parking lot! I’m speechless-thank you Aba! See you next month 😉

Giovanni was our server and he was amazing! Food was absolutely delicious, beautiful ambiance and outstanding service. Special thanks to the host for helping me make a reservation for 10 on the same day. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. We’re a large group from Michigan and everyone left saying they couldn’t wait to dine here again. Thanks for everything!! See you soon💕

Outstanding food and service. Raul and Aaron went above and beyond to serve us with excellence. The homemade pastas were delicious, and so were the desserts. My moms family is from Italy and I’ve visited 6 times. This meal was on par with what I would get overseas. Would definitely eat here again!

What a beautiful dinner to share with my family at a lovely Italian restaurant. The service was impeccable, starting with being greeted Martino and served by Hector and his attentive staff. The welcoming platter of fresh foccacia, bruchetta, cheese and olives was a wonderful way to start our meal. I would recommend Casa D'Angelo to celebrate a special occasion or if you just want a delicious Italian meal!

The atmosphere is great at Casa D’Angelo, amazing service and a great selection of wine. All of the dishes were delicious and we enjoyed our time.

So I want to start off by saying the staff at the restaurant are amazing and so is the food and beverages. I gave it 4 stars for 1 reason. I ordered a half portion of fettuccine with white truffles as it was on special. The cost for this dish was $78.00. It was underwhelming. Pasta cook was great however the sauce was bland and needed help. For $78.00 it should be amazing because the cost to make this dish is pennies besides the imported truffles. I did mention to the staff about the dish but I didn’t expect much because of the truffle cost and I was ok with that. I would go back but will not repeat the truffle purchase.

I love this restaurant! I've been here with my husband at least 10 times and i never have enough! The hostess Cristina is the sweetest and most professional person you can meet. The food is fabulous , my favorite dish is the spaghetti with clams amazing! The restaurant is always packed so i suggest you to make a reservation! Great food, great service, amazing people. My husband and I ate at Casa D'Angelo for our first anniversary, and it did not disappoint. The manager Martino greeted us upon arrival and was so hardworking, even on his birthday--Happy birthday Martino! Our server Carl was so friendly and hospitable. He checked up on us regularly, and was extremely on top of our order. Raul also helped out with our order, and even gave us some extra olives that came with the appetizer because we loved them so much! The food was incredible too. We ordered a couple seafood dishes and they were all so fresh. Their pasta is made in house too...so good! While the restaurant is on the fancier side, my husband and I were treated equally to all other patrons. We're more casual and a lot less established than what seems to be the typical customer at Casa D'Angelo, yet we were still treated with incredible service. Thank you to the entire team!

Raul and our waiter, Samuel took care of us and our dinner experience was amazing, it has vegetarian options and I’m allergic to peanuts so just telling them made me feel comfortable, and safe. I’m also from New York so my family and I know good Italian food when we see it. This food in my opinion was the best authentic Italian food in Florida. I highly recommend! and I literally never make reviews.

D Angelo’s always has such great staff, food, and an incredible atmosphere. Had dinner tonight with my coworkers and we had a great experience. The waiters were so attentive, the food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was great. 10/10

Aba was an amazing server. She knew all the details of the specials and clearly explained the menu to us. We were a large group and she handled all of us with professionalism and knowledge. Our time here was a fantastic experience. Our wine was delicious and complimented our dinner choices. The ambience and music suited the restaurant. We have been coming here every year for years, especially during the holidays. It truly is the best Italian food and service in Fort Lauderdale. We can’t wait to come back again.

We were blown away by the service and the food! We had an appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts! Way more than we needed, but Iso glad we got to try different things. We will be back when we visit again

It’s always a pleasure to dine here! The food is always amazing. The staff is amazing as well! We recently sat in Aba’s section- she is a delight! Her suggestions were spot on! We will definitely ask for her again!
