Had a great lunch at the City Cafe. We were seated promptly and our server was quick to get our drink order in. Food came out quickly and was hot. I had the Jaeger Schnitzel which was outstanding. My wife had the Salmon and a friend had the Mushroom Crepes. Both were very good. And then came dessert! So many wonderful things to choose from. I had the Peach Bread Pudding. My wife and our friend had an Apple Tart and Chocolate Dome. All were amazing!! And of course we got some other desserts to go as well. Very good overall experience.
Absolutely love this little gem!! So serene and beautiful atmosphere, staff is very nice and the food is delicious!! My husband delivered here and told me about it so we checked it out on a Thursday, our day date time, it was outstanding! Kept this as our little spot. The bakery has such soft fresh bread available to purchase by the loaf and such wonderful treats as well. Love this place and we are becoming regulars now!
Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon right before closing. We really wanted brunch but they only serve breakfast until 11 AM. They have outside seating available which has a nice bistro/garden vibe. We were seated inside because they were closing up and everyone was outside.
What we ordered;
Fried Grouper Sandwich - 4/5 Well seasoned, crispy and the right amount of breading on the softest thin bun.
Shrimp Tacos - 3/5 Tasty but don't expect Mexican style flavor.
First time here for a sit down meal. Our server, Helena, was very nice, helpful and attentive. I ordered the veal, and my husband, the grouper. We had the fried green tomatoes and mushroom crêpes as appetizers. The portion size was phenomenal and the mashed potatoes were the bomb! The ladies room was very clean and we enjoyed the live music ambience. The dessert was not a 5, and the veal was over cooked, but all in all, great experience. If you live in Fayetteville and you’ve never been, go. Kind of like folks who live in Manhattan, but never been to a Broadway play. 🤔
The restaurant was beautiful. The service could have been better. The French toast was delicious but a little dry. I would recommend it because of the great atmosphere. Definitely wouldn’t mind trying there lunch or dinner options 💕
First time going to the restaurant and it was a nice setting. They have indoor and outdoor seating, so no matter your preference for dinning they have it. The prices are very reasonable and the food is good. There is also a pastry counter set up and we couldn't resist.
I love German food a lot and this is very comfortable lovely place to get rest with friend or alone and relax. I take schnitzel and it tests great. Also they have a lot of great and nice desserts.

As a Chef graduate of Johnson & Wales University. I’m very picky. I found this hidden jewel by accident on Google. Everything was amazing. The decor, taste, customer service, cleanliness, food selection and price. It was certainly a five star experience for a small price. I can’t wait to return and try their dinner. This is definitely my new get away spot.

I went back again for breakfast. The food at City Cafe was delicious I wanted to try something new. I tried the Southern Shrimp N Fried Grit Cake. The sauce will make you slap somebody. This wasn’t your ordinary shrimp n grits. They took it up a notch. Extremely classy! I never had fried grits, very tasty. I also orders the BLT made with avocado, arugula and fresh cherry tomatoes. Not to forget I grabbed some more mini pastries from their on-site bakery. I still can’t believe they were $1.50 each. I goggled it all down with another Mimosa. The service was top notch as yesterday. The server, the staff and owner are always extremely polite. The owner saw me taking videos and photos, then told my server my meal was free. I think I just started another business on today!😱😱😱😘😘😘 ~ Billionaire
Definitely a place to visit in Atlanta. It’s about 45 mins from downtown.

I wish I could have given them a 10/10. Everything was amazing just as breakfast. My only issue was the slow service and short staffed servers. They had a large party, making the wait and lack of attention fairly long. Overall the Shrimp N Grits is a must try! OMG…. that sauce is delicious. The black forest cake was very moist and had great flavor. The presentation was beautiful. I also grabbed a few mini pastries to take home. Not to mention you must try the Affentale Riseling from Germany. Your taste buds will be so happy you tried the combination.
