La Hacienda

The food is good and they have a decent selection to choose from. They have top shelf margaritas on the rocks or blended which is not typical The food is not spice at all, but ask for the hot sauce they make in house- it will add good flavor and some heat There was a Spanish guitar player there the day we went who played very well and made the meal very enjoyable

It wasn't like I remember in regards to the beans and overall quality. However; the shrimp cocktail was on point. My daughter loved the salsa and cheese dip, but she wasn't to fond of rice and beans. I'm not sure of what was changed about the beans or anything else but when my daughter isn't happy with the food, I'm not either. For the price we paid for our meal, I'm pleased of the value but not quality of food.

Best meal in town. Kind courteous staff. The cook even came out to talk with us. We absolutely love eating here. I had the chicken milanese with cheese, onions, and red sauce on top (they added it at my request). Totally my favorite. However, everything is great here. Never had a bad meal. Such a huge portion. It made great leftovers, too.

This is the 3rd time they have told me, “Sorry, I don’t have change”, when picking up a TO GO order and they owe me money back. They just expect you to say, oh okay go ahead and keep it I guess. Not when they aren’t waiting on me and I’m picking it up and when they charge a TO GO fee on top of the price. They also failed to give utensils and are very stingy on how much salsa they give you TO GO. Put in a tiny dipping cup. One per order. 2 bites of chips with salsa. Very disappointing!

The experience was horrible. Employees constantly walking by while we needed refills on our drinks, had to ask multiple times for the refills, then came and gave the food and sat for almost 5 min that way and never came back to give us plates or the tortillas to eat it with. Then I flagged down the waiter and told him about it and he told me to calm down. So we walked out and will never go back.

The salsa here is my favorite! The service is also amazing too. I would rather support this restaurant that cares than the chain of restaurants with different names that the same owner owns (la Huerta, el matador, mojitos) because they just don’t care. Everything has been delicious each time I’ve come here. My only complaint is really the food is incredibly overpriced for what you get, I mean it’s grubby greasy food so I don’t understand paying a premium for it. When my mom and I go it costs around $40 usually…. But other places more around $20.
