I would give him 5 stars cause his food is good. But he always seem to have a attitude. One thing I know for sure you suppose to talk to people with respect. Idk if it’s cause he be having a long day but he needs to speak to people more kindly when people is talking to him with respect. Update: I called I didn’t come in. An your set of tone and how you speak to people is very rude. All you had to say was “sorry ma’am we’re not frying only steaming” instead you wanted to cut me off like I’m a child an you wanted me to hush an hear what you had to say. You is very rude an a lot of people say it. If you’re not a people person, you should have someone else to take the orders. Simple. You’ll lose alot of good customers with the way you talk to people. I never once said anything about your face expression. I said the way you TALK to people.

The owner/cook was very personable and greeted everyone as you entered the door. The steamed seafood and veggies food smelled delightful. I ordered off the fried menu. As a sat awaiting my food, I contemplated ordering a steamed meal as well. The fried flounder and shrimp were scrumptious. There was a bit of a wait because there was only one person; however, one other employee arrived to assist. It was my first time at NY Steamers; the food was hot, fresh and worth the wait. I will be returning!!!

Always rude. ALWAYS!!! Everyone else says the same thing. Read the reviews. I have been to this place almost 10 times and every time I’ll have to give him time to maybe cool off but no every time he is very rude. Grumpy. If he replies I bet you he gets smart. He can’t help it. Very bad for business but the food is good and healthy I can’t lie. But I’d rather not shop with that attitude. I’m sure I can find better food some where is what he doesn’t understand. People do not have to shop there and I honestly hope they don’t do he can humble down. And he has bugs. Just read the reviews.
