Mellow Mango

I went into Mello Mango yesterday with my wife and two children. We have been customers there since it open and have never had any complaints. I purchased $12 worth of yogurt for the family. When I began to eat mine, the Kit Kat was very stale. I went into the store and told the young lady that my kit kat was stale. She tasted it, agreed with me, and put new kit kat out. While I waited until this happened, she did not tell me to get another yogurt. I finally asked her can I get another yogurt since the one I just bought had stale candy in it. She told me if I got more yogurt then I would have to pay for it and that her manager told her that. So I asked her, " My options right now are to eat stale candy, or to purchase another yogurt after not even eating the first one due to stale products?" She became defensive and blamed on the earlier shift, and kept saying "It is not my fault, the workers on the early shift did not change the candy out" I assured her I was not blaming her, but this is not acceptable to be made to purchase another yogurt after what I bought was stale. The young lady then went into the back and came back out and mumbled "loser." I said Excuse me, did you say something? She said she was talking to her friend, who was the shift manager in the back (who we usually deal with and have never had any issues). I then told her that was not acceptable. The shift manager came out, said it was fine, and to get another yogurt. I thanked her. I went outside to tell my wife what had just occurred, and she went in to get the manager's name and information. The phone number that was given to us is not a working number. I am extremely disappointed in the service shown yesterday and the lack of "people skills" shown by this young lady. I will not be visiting this location again, which will be very disappointing to my daughters because they love this place. We even attend school events and Family Nights here for my daughter's school. This event happened on June 21, 2016 around 7:50 pm.
