Yaffa Grill

This place is amazing. Has great food and the best part is the culture of the food and eating you may never have had. People I’ve seen have complained about the service, yes I do agree the service needs work but I’m pretty sure the family that owns this restaurant is new to the business or doesn’t have much experience with customer service. With this please have patience with this place!

Food was relatively good. The service, on the other hand, awful. I requested water for drik and I never received it. The waitress walked by my table atleast 3 times and never bothered to stop to ask me if I needed anything else nor brought me water. Luckily, I had some water in my car. In middle of my meal I went and grabbed a bottle.

Food tasted terrible. Half cooked chicken was charred too much and had no flavor. It’s not even cooked thoroughly but blackened on the outside just with high flame . Hummus was not fresh. I struggled to finish food on my plate. Restaurant ambiance was bad and looks kinda depressing. Service was moderate. I have visited this place multiple times but never got to use my student discount because, they retrieve the bill before you make it to the checkout. So if you need your wright state student discount, you need to mention it while ordering the food at the table. Else, it’s not applied. This is so far my least favorite Mediterranean food.
