The Vallata is the place in Fairbanks for a New York or Filet. The meat is always temperature percent and so delicious. They have a pepper steak that never disappoints. My personal favorite is a dish called Linguine Fradiavalo. Peppers onions, mushrooms and of course linguine pasta with a flavorful delicious sauce. Great restaurant, worth the drive to the Valley.
Ate here last night and our meals were excellent!! Our server was Gretchen and she made the evening even more enjoyable with her big smile and sparkly personality. Haven’t been here in several years but it’s high on my radar now! Wonderful evening from start to finish. Definitely recommend!
Nice place, good service. Food is good. It’s out of the tourist area, which is nice 20 mins from downtown easy to drive. Same owner for 41 years.
Beautiful place with friendly staff, amazing wine and incredible food! I wish we were local so we could become regulars! The food is also very reasonably priced. My wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere greatly!
Great service, my water never saw the bottom of the glass(huge plus in my book) Appitizer: mozzi sticks.👌Dinner: The veal cutlet parmigiana alla Vallata👌Large entree, and very delicious! Soup: Cream brocolli👌 dessert: tiramisu cheesecake👌 My love and i shared the entree and both left stuffed.
It's nice to visit a restaurant with service. Dining out in Fairbanks you tend to forget that places actually make things from scratch, they check in with you regularly and make sure everything in your meal is just the way you asked for it. The service is outstanding. This is one of the few places in Fairbanks to take your sweetheart out for a nice sit-down dinner. Its advised to make reservations they do get busy, but I've always been able to walk in and sit down. If I didn't live out in North Pole I would definitely visit this place more often.
Every now and then they have live music, and I've walked in and enjoyed some very tasty pizza at the bar...
If you have not experienced the Vallata, choose this place for your next elegant meal in a very relaxing setting.
Just had a company party and a going-away event for staff at the end of the season absolutely amazing service food compliments to the Vallarta for keeping it together with all the craziness in the food and beverage business. The service was amazing 1-gal handle the party of 10 with no mistakes. And everything come out of the kitchen and a quick and efficient manner

I had the stuffed chicken which looked and was delicious and the potato croquette and the tiramisu cheese cake was very tasty as well. The prices were comparable with other Italian restaurants we have eaten at here in Fairbanks and the staff was friendly. Will definitely eat there again.
