Jazz Bistro On 4th

We had a wonderful Christmas Eva at Jazz Bistro. The vibe was awesome. Due to the storm, the band couldn’t make it to come to perform, so the boss played impromptu music for us! Very impressed and so Caribbean. The food were good but the desert was too sweet. The food were expensive. Overall, if you are a jazz fan, come and try! You won’t be disappointed.

YOU GUYS!!!! My husband and I walked in with no reservation and were greeted and seated immediately. The lighting and music made for GREAT atmosphere after a long hectic day at the office. Our host/the owner was absolutely marvelous! There are no words to describe the amazing service and conversation we had experienced. I was absolutely not expecting this! I don’t do “new” very well and I had never experienced a menu like this before. I was beyond satisfied with everything we ordered. I can promise you my husband and I have already decided to spend our future date nights here @ The Jazz Bistro on 4th street in Fairbanks. They also do Latin nights in the evening for couples looking for something fun to do together without the hectic background scene. Honestly there’s not enough stars ⭐️ for me to leave a genuine review. If you’ve never been to the Jazz Bistro do yourself a favor and start the car!!!

Incredible little find! Came during the week so it was moderately slow which was nice, we got a table right away. Host was super nice, I guess this place has been on the food network and after having the food i can see why! Cuban food and tapas! I’m very happy i did not share my shrimp cocktail which was incredibly delicious but filling on its own. It was like a hearty stew and I highly recommend it! Pollo con Crema… my goodness… the chicken itself was amazing without the sauces but the crema and goodness surrounding it is seriously top notch. Great selection on wines, the beers you’d expect, i didn’t see any spirits but with all the wine i didn’t miss it. Great food, amazing insta worthy presentation, lovely service! A little pricier than other places but the food quality makes it worth every cent!

Really good food and the mood/environment very Latin. My mom and I came here right when they opened. We made a reservation and it was a breeze. Finding parking wasn't difficult even though the restaurant is in Fairbanks. We went close to 6pm on a Friday. The owner is nice, professional, and Cuban! Us being Peruvian, we enjoyed speaking with him in our mother language. The food was fresh and delicious. Table service was also appropriate and not overwhelming. The portions were pretty good portions too. This restaurant is very popular and a reservation is needed because it fills up quickly. While we were there they were playing latin music in the background. However, I know they have life music there too. There were instruments close by the entrance. My mom was visiting AK, but I will definitely come back again.

This place is amazing!!!! The Food was fantastic!!! The atmosphere, the people, the music. You have to check this place out!! I ordered the Pernil with rice and beans. I also ordered the Cuban bread. This place is definitely one of my new favorite spots in Fairbanks! I am so glad I found this place. I will definitely be back!

Ever spend time outside in Fairbanks, AK in February? It's cold (duh). People that have never experienced it really won't get it. What business does a restaurant specializing in Cuban food have in such a place? I have no idea, but they're owning every minute of it. I took a wrong turn and happened upon this little gem called Jazz Bistro on 4th and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was on the fence about what I should have for dinner, but after a little chit-chat with my super-friendly server, I was sold on the Cuban Churrasco Style Steak. It was, in a word, outstanding. Everything on the plate was good on its own, but when taken together as a whole, it provided an extremely tasty, well composed dish. The atmosphere is laid back with great music played at the perfect volume -- the music is front and center without hindering the ability to carry on a conversation. I'm still not sure about their back-story and how they ended up I'm Alaska, but I'll save my questions for the next time I visit as I'll definitely be back for more.
