Outstanding! I was on the road riding from Texas to Prudhoe Bay and back when I came across this place. Very good food. I wish he would open a place here in Texas! The owner, who also rides a motorcycle, was very friendly and gave me good info on places in town too. Very clean! No hidden kitchen. Friendly staff. I had one whole spicy pita for lunch...and went back before they closed for one for dinner! Amazing flavor and great prices. Thanks!

This place is great! Not a regular restaurant, since it is open during the summer, and seating is outside, but a good place to eat. Even though the lines seem to be really long at times, you get your food pretty quick. The people are very friendly, and the food is fresh. Since it is a pita place, there are only a couple of choices to pick from. White or whole wheat pitas are available. They also serve fresh brewed Turkish coffee and baklava for dessert. I recommend it to anyone that visits Fairbanks!

Beautiful place serving you some of the best falafel in entire Alaska. Good place with decent outdoor seating arrangements. Taste of the food is excellent and so is the ambiance. I never had a bad experience so far! Kudos to the owner.

Finally!
I haven't lived here long, and my experience with Alaskan food has been very disappointing.  Not any more!  Thanks to Pita Place! My husband and I both got their classic falafel.  Wonderful!  I am originally from Halifax NS where there is a very strong mid east community with wonderful food trucks and street food.  This place lived up to my expectations!  Their falafel is simple, and perfect.  These guys do not mess around.
The service was very friendly and quick, which was a surprise with the lineup we encountered!  I think I remember that they were cash only, although I may have that wrong... But whatever.. Totally going back again and again!!

Thank you guys!!!!!!

Excellent place!. Food is fresh, portions are very satisfying and the taste is excellent. People behind the counter are very friendly. Prices are comparable to Fairbanks. Look forward to their opening (just not the line the first week!) every Summer

Great Place!. I drove by the pita place almost everyday this summer driving to classes at UAF. I finally stopped in one day to try it out after hearing a lot of people's praises. It was always busy so it had to be good, right? Exactly right! They have a very limited menu, but that's all they need. What they do offer, they do really well at delivering. I had never had a falafel either so everything was a new expereince. I went to pay with my debit card when I was told they only take cash....crap. But they quickly reassured me that I could just pay the next time I came back. Whaaa?? First of all, the food was amazing (they even use locally grown produce) and second of all, the customer service was phenomenal. What kind of business allows people to eat for free and trusts them to come back later to pay? A business that knows they have something good going on. I definitely did go back and pay, and they were grateful. This place offers great food, they support the local community, and the service is excellent. I am looking forward to next summer already!

I love this place. My wife drug me out to this little falafel stand on college and I wasn't too excited. I've never had a falafel and from what my wife described, I wasn't going to have one any time soon. So like all powerless husbands, I went anyways and got a soda, and that's it. Eventually my wife insisted I try a bite, so I did. I have to tell you, it was REALLY GOOD. Needless to say my wife still holds it over my head that she has better taste than I, I guess you can't win them all.

Also, the people who own the stand are some of the best people I've meet. Really great family.

Very tasty. Had my first falafel and it was so complex and tasty! Got all veggies except onions. I also tried the Turkish coffee. Very good although I had to add some splenda, only because I take my coffee overly sweet. The staff was very kind and explained what everything was. Cash only but they told my friend who had no cash they would give her food and let her stop by later to pay! How nice and trusting! I can't wait to go back!

I was not expecting a Falafal dining in Alaska, being from Michigan which is the hub of Falafals, and used to eating them they are doing real decent jobs in making vegetable Falafal sandwiches. The host are really nice and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable. They have only outdoor seating which is nice. Overall good place to take a snack on your way to Dinali.

Best falafel I ever ate, similar to New York. Wish it was open for longer hours. Hard to find good food in central Alaska and this place is definitely a go. Great experience for 1st timer. My buddy had it for the first time and he absurdly loved it. Don't be afraid to try this amazing food.

Good food and wide non-alcoholic drink selection. Lots of outdoor seating and some indoor space. Perfect quick lunch spot. Also enjoy the oversized chess board and Connect 4.

Amazing falafel There was a long queue in front of this restaurant waiting for falafel. That’s how we knew we were at the right place for lunch.

I'm actually relieved I'm not from Fairbanks and only visiting on business because I would smash this every day if it were in my area. Phenomenal. The staff were very friendly and quick as well.
