Good To Go Jamaican Cuisine

Best chicken we have had in a long time. I got the Jerk Chicken and Waffles and my wife got the fried chicken and waffles. WOW just WOW. This is my first time eating authentic Jamaican food and it made me fall in love. All natural, all fresh. The place is super well designed and has a very nice vibe, we had a DJ playing live music. Just joy everywhere and our server Cassandra went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to provide us with top service. Some of the friendliest people, we will come back for dinner too! OH, and try their fresh fruit juices, they are something else.

I didn't care for the oxtail rolls or mac & cheese but overall so much we had was delicious! Jerk wings, Curry goat and Brown Stew Chicken were delicious with the cornbread, candied yams and rice. Peach cobbler for dessert which we took home and added ice cream. Definitely wasn't a cheap meal for two of us but I would go again!

This was my first time eating here and OH. MY. GOD😲. It was uh-mazing (which is better than amazing). The food is beyond wonderful. I had the brown stew snapper, rice and peas and steamed Cabbage. The rice and peas were outstandingly delicious. My drink, my drink........my drink though😌. It was a pink starburst and trust me when I say "Hakeem" could be the pide piper just for the drink alone. At the same time, my homemade mango cheesecake tasted like Sweet baby Jesus himself had reached down and touched it. It was that good...I mean, no really it was. Seriously, it was. Like all jokes aside, it was. It was just that great..and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I was originally going to take it to go but it was to good 🤤. I'll see you all tomorrow because...well.....why not. 😉 Keep in mind, they are EXPENSIVE though.😬

I came to this place for the first time back in September 2021 and I loved it! Food was delicious, portions were great, I came when there was live music. Overall 10/10. I returned December 2021 and I was disappointed: - Portions were smaller. The waitress said after they reviewed their data they noticed they were giving out too much food for their prices so they pulled back. Good for them but sucks for the customer. Example in September I had shrimp rolls (4-6) as an appetizer. December I had only 2. Same price! - My waitress told me there was no more Mac and cheese and by the time I was finishing my plate there WAS Mac and cheese available. Idk if she was new but I love the Mac and cheese at this place! (I really went back to treat my family member and get mac and cheese)It goes perfectly with the jerk catfish and to find out they "didn't have it" my order just wasn't as good. I wish I would've asked the waitress to ask the chef if they were going to make more because no Mac was like going to a burger place looking forward to their special with fries only to find out they don't have fries. Smh. I had appetizer: shrimp rolls, and the festival (taste like French toast...it's good) entree: jerk catfish, cabbage, rice. Again I would've done jerk catfish, Mac and cheese and cabbage. Support this Black owned business just know if you went before November/December 2021 the prices are the same but smaller portions. If you want Mac and cheese don't leave without it! The food is good...just better with the Mac and cheese...thats just me...

Traveled in from Dallas with my family of 5. We received excellent, excellent service from staff members and our waitress (she was kind and patient), and the food was so delicious. Half of our party is vegan, so we had an amazing vegetable curry dish with awesome vegan sides. My family loved everything about this place, and the decor was beautiful as well. They even let us watch the Dallas cowboys game on the big screen! :) Lastly, we saw the owners on the way out, they took a genuine interest in our dining experience and were very warm and hospitable. We will definitely be back when we find ourselves in the area again!

I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the extended time for someone to finally wait on us. Our server Anna, was outstanding, helpful, courteous and just has a great sense of humor. The food was great and the environment was awesome. Kudos to the owner who actually brought out my wings (which were fresh off the grill) and I would have never known she was one of the owners along with her husband, until I asked randomly if the restaurant was black owned thinking she was just an employee of the restaurant. Very humbled to meet her.
