Delicious deep-dish pizza! I had The Lou and it was amazing. So tasty and the portion was very filling. Nice atmosphere and good service. I would recommend and return again.
For anyone new to Chicago or trying out deep dish pizzas, Lou Malnati's is the gold standard. They have very rich pizzas, and compared to Giordano's are slightly cheaper. The tradeoff between Lou Malnati's and Giordano's is the cheese. Giordano is heavy on the cheese, while Lou Malnati's is heavy on sauces. But that's not to say their pizzas aren't anything short of good. Be mindful of servings though. Deep Dish pizzas are a lot more filling, and most people will feel really full after 2 slices
My first deep dish pizza, ordered a small classic to go. Took about thirty minutes to make and excellent for my first experience. It was flavorful with tomato topping. The crust was light and flakey. The small was enough for two meals.

Good pizza!. We got a pizza to go, one of the Maltati Chicago Classics. It was very good and I'm sure would have been better if we were able to eat it there, piping hot. Even my son, who typically doesn't like a lot of sauce, liked it. A medium was way too much for the two of us.

Classic Chicago Deep Dish. I've been to Lou's several times over the last 30 years. I love the deep dish pizza. I know they serve other food, but I can never seem to talk myself out of the pizza !
This place is soo good. My family no longer lives in the Chicago area but everytime we cone back here we make sure to go to louse. We have 4 people in our family and last time we went we got a small lous and a medium classic Chicago minalti. Deep dish of course. It really us delicious though. Everything in the menu looks so good but I aways end up getting the pizza.
Their pizza was delicious and my aunt really liked and appreciated the gluten free crust! Only tricky thing is that curbside pickup was pretty crowded, but it did move quickly.
I’m wildly satisfied. Glad I started the 2021 New Year with this beloved pie. Good thing I had the wherewithal to take this picture before the pizza was devoured so I can show you guys. Worth every penny and I’d do it again!
I just did a pickup order, so I can't speak to their service. Except that the person on the phone, and later at the register, was polite enough.
And I thank them all for working through a pandemic.
I leave tips even on pickup these days. Do it. Feels good.
It's the food that rocks and gets the five stars though! I've been eating Lou's pizzas for a lifetime and while it's been a decade since I was back, I was not disappointed. The combination of real mozzarella cheese and actual tomatoes in the sauce on that wickedly tasty crust made me wanna go vegetarian. But alas, I love me some pepperoni. Here's hoping one day we hear something about free range and organic being the norm at this Chicago institution. I'll be back then, for sure.
Love the food here, everything tasted great. Service is awesome. Just wish the deep dish didn't take so long to cook, but... can't beat physics right? See you next time, we love it here.

We ordered a deep dish pepperoni and sausage pizza. Lou has great pizza. One of my favorites. I didn't realize it was a sausage layer across the whole pizza, not just cuts of sausage. Just too much for me.
