Oaxaca Cocina Mexicana

First time coming, the food and service was excellent! The place was clean, the restrooms were too. We had the enmoladas plate and some gorditas. The mole was a little spicy but tasted great, the gorditas were hand made to order and the deshebrada and bistek filling was really good! It was a rainy day, the cashier offered mole de olla to go and it hit the spot. Would definitely come again.

Found this spot via reviews and it was well worth it! We ended up having tortas (one milanesa and one carne asada) and both were good. While speaking with the lady that served us, she mentioned that the chips and breads are all done in house, and it shows. The bread was nice and soft, and the chips were still warm from the fryer. For dessert we had carlota. It was like an icebox cake, with a light lemon taste! Was cold and delicious! Didnt use the bathrooms, but the eating area was bright and clean, and so was the silverware and plates. Edited to add desserts name.

This is an absolutely fantastic restaurant very close to downtown El Paso. Even though it wasn't on the menu, I was able to order a Gordita plate that was entirely vegetarian, and had a lovely cup of coffee along with it. All the food tastes like it is made there -- including the all of salsas and the tortillas. Everyone on the team is part of the same family, and they run the place with the same love they have with one another. There is even a community library with lots of kids books, in case the smaller members of your party need entertainment while you dine. OMK es un Tesoro <3

I wish I'd taken a photo! I went with a group of friends and we tried half the menu and shared it and it was one of the best meals I've had in El Paso. We had the enchiladas, the Chile relleno, the gorditas, the chilaquiles and a burrito. Nothing was bad it was so delicious! This is our new favorite spot for what feels like a home cooked meal ❤️

A new concept, with the same taste, different menu, but food is tasty and the caldito de fideo and albondigas are the best.!! Friendly staff and great costumer service!! Im a regular and will continue to be, a true mexican restaurant.. If your searching for real mexican food , stay away from Jaimes hut, lucky cafe, good luck and Rincon de villa, no comparison with the taste of Oaxaca mexican Kitchen!!
