Best food ever.. I love this restaurant. The food has a unique taste.. I'll visit again whenever I'm in town. Too bad we don't have one where I leave. I would be there everyday. It's worth driving the 7 hrs to visit this restaurant. I highly recommend it.
Great taco buffet, mariachi music on Fridays, and good drink specials. Wait staff were very attentive.
This was a great place to eat. Their buffet had a large selection of different foods, and they also made you a breakfast personalized to your liking.
The best Mexican breakfast buffet in EP. It's about $16.50 per adult. Our waitress (Mariela) was very friendly and patient. They have pancakes, French toast, huevo con chorizo, papas con chorizo, rajas con queso, refried beans, tamales (verde y rojo) chilaquiles (verde y rojo) tacos al pastor, entomatadas, tacos sudados, menudo, pozole verde, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, different juices, churros, mole y arroz, chicharrón verde, puerco con chile pasado. There's a salsa bar. **They have the coolest robot that delivers food that you can order with your waitress. We ordered tacos de barbacoa and a mollete. They have a lot of food that you can order with your waitress that isn't on the buffet line, but it's included in your buffet price.** They have aguas frescas y chocolate abuelita. Honestly, I enjoyed everything that I tasted and sampled. It's definitely worth the price. I'll be returning for the taco buffet (M-F after 1pm)
The taco buffet is absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. I was truly impressed. There's a huge variety of tacos and frijoles carrots, refried beans, rice, Rajas con queso, fruits, deserts. It was worth paying for for sure.
I like this place... Buffett has many choices to choose from... the menu items look good... need to revisit and try the enchiladas cause that is my favorite... on the upside they have a robot waiter... how cool is that and it has eyes and plays happy music.. clean place good service and friendly staff, especially the robot waiter... I highly recommend this place...

We are always treated like we are eating at a 5-star restaurant. We personally enjoy the buffet that is available until 1:00 pm. The options are fantastic and this buffet gives classic Mexican flavors that El Paso is known for. A lot of the Mexican restaurants around town have become “Americanized” lacking that home-cooked consistency we El Pasoans look for and love, that Chih’ua actually has maintained. Word of warning, Sundays get extremely packed, so either get there early or be prepared to wait at least half an hour (even for a table for 2).
Delicious and relaxing !! arrived at about 12:30, the tail end of their breakfast buffet, which is extensive. Great salsa bar. I loved both kinds of chilaquiles and the entomatadas. Frank was attentive and fun. While I was there, I saw them switching over to their afternoon taco bar, which looked equally extensive and delicious. Can’t wait to come back.
They served buffet from Monday to Friday. I ordered from the menu, good food, great price. Restaurant is bright and clean, u r required to wear gloves(provided) to take food from the buffet, and their staff collect finished dishes very quick. Excellent Frijoles charros.
Excellent food and even better service. The food is as authentically Mexican as it gets. It’s what you would expect to see on a menu in Mexico proper. Lorena, our waitress was attentive and personable; despite being incredibly busy. You can’t go wrong with either the buffet or the menu. The final icing on the cake is the cleanliness standard that the restaurant adheres to.
Top notch in El Paso in my book.
My wife and I visited for a date night on the advice of a friend. We both decided on trying the buffet in the evening. We enjoyed great tacos, Enchiladas, and the best caldo de res I've ever had! The horchata was on point, not to sweet and not to bland. For all the good that the food was, the service was the opposite. The young man serving us had no interest in answering questions about the menu, left the drinks empty the entire evening until I came over to find him, and I had to chase him down for the bill at the end of the night. The food was good enough that we are going to try this restaurant again, hopefully with better service.
Great music, tvs. We share a combination plate of rib-eye and short tibs that is exceptionally flavorful and savory. The two baked potatoes are always flawlessly prepared, soft and fluffy on the inside. Excellent small corn tortillas and superb, very spicy salsas. One of our favorite places.
