The place is beautiful, very hipster-ish. It’s very open, unlike most coffee shops that are often crowded. The employees are very friendly. With all that said, there is a reason why I gave 4 stars. They had a limited selection of pastries. It might have just been an off day, who knows. Other than that it’s a lovely place. Side note, it is attached to a church. It seems to be owned by the church; They sell “Christian faith” inspired T-shirts. Almost forgot to add, I ordered a white mocha iced coffee and it was delicious.

The most special thing about Perks-aside from superb coffee creations-is the customer service. It's probably the best in this whole county! And those cinnamon rolls? Yeah...they are amazing! I could go on and on, but it's more convincing once you try it for yourself. You'll be glad you did!

Everyone is very warm and friendly. It's a place where you always feel welcome and can come and just hang out. I hear they have the best coffee in town. I don't know because I don't drink coffee, but they offer many other delicious drink options for those of us who don't. I can say for certain that they have the best pastries in town. Absolutely YUMMY!!

Best White Mocha iced latte I've ever had! Lemon poppy seed bread and banana nut bread are amazing!!! There's wifi and plenty of varied seating. Great for getting work done or just meeting friends for coffee.

I absolutely LOVE Perks! Their strawberry banana smoothies are my favorite! I literally get one every Sunday! The staff is always super sweet and seem like they really enjoy what they do! It's such a friendly environment and I love everything about it! Hands down best coffee shop I've ever been to! I will continue to go there as long as we're stationed in El Paso!
