Applebee's

My 7 year old wanted to eat here for his birthday. I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita and I get this. Basically blended ice with a tiny splash of strawberry flavor and tiny amount of alcohol. The manager came out to talk to us and was so rude and didn't do anything to fix the drink. Then I waited another 10-15 minutes for them to even come back to the table and they didn't even ask me what I wanted to drink, I had to ask them for a drink. My kids waited for refills on their drinks for a long time, no silverware until we asked. Worst service and horrible employees. Will never come back here!!!!!!!

We got our appetizer, and she never brought out our pops. The next time she came to check in on us was when our main courses came out, and we had to ask for our drinks. Our appetizer platter was practically finished by this point. She also did not seem sincere when apologizing. The only other time she came to our table was when we were done eating. We ask for a box, and she came back and quickly tossed them on our table and left. The only reason we tipped was for the cook who made the food.

I have eaten at a few Applebee's... This visit was the worst I have experienced. We had a large party so I called ahead and asked about a time. I was told the time I was interested in was traditionally busy and asked to come an hour later. That seemed fine to me and I appreciated the suggestion. The lack of a host when I arrived was my first clue there would be an issue. We were set within a few minutes by the woman I later learned was a manager. That would be my only interaction with her. Drink orders were taken right away but drinks arrived 40 minutes after we set down. Our waitress Lynn, was the ONLY bright spot. There were children in our party so she brought their meals first. Their food arrived about an hour 30 after we set down. My son's Mac and cheese was dry as a bone. My food arrived about an hour and 40 minutes after we set down. Lynn ended up comping a bunch of our parties order. No manager. One guy never actually got his food. We tipped her well as it appeared she never stopped moving. This place has a real management issue. I would avoid.
